His successful working life has been all about rolling the dice - albeit with a large amount of knowledge and savvy. You cannot though roll the dice in an industry in which you have no knowledge and expect a positive outcome.

I think that's exactly it, he is completely out of his depth, it has nothing to do with his skill sets. Horse Racing is far more up his street. I still think, and have thought for a few years he wants to sell the club but his plans to get us promoted and get a good price is backfiring and I wouldn't mind betting he wants too much for it anyway.

Rolled the dice with Critchley MK1 - good call. Rolled the dice with Appleton - no comment. Panicked into getting a so-called big name - Dino Mick - to pull us out of the mire - abject failure. The same applies to Bruce, being seduced into employing another faded big name was no doubt great for the ego, but not so good for the club. Anyway, it has all been said a thousand times, but who knows what is going to happen? Things are crazy bad.

I agree.
Bloxham has been shite, so too Evans, the two new centre backs, pretty much everyone aside from Casey who does his job competently albeit surrounded by chaos.
Cannot name one player other than that who deserves any praise at all.
The performance levels, the fitness levels, the physicality , the aggression , all on the floor. Embarrassing, pathetic.

So, SpongeBob Square pants, can you please tell me and the rest of the forum, how many of the existing squad has been purchased by Evo.
Some people are so impatient and quick to blame the manager when things go pear shaped when it is blatantly obvious that some of Evo’s inherited players are simply not good enough.
With that said there was a 100% improvement in the second half, which, in all my years of watching the pool, will probably go down as one of the most abysmal 45 minutes I have ever witnessed.
Evo has got to put his mark on the team and that won’t happen after a few games, but there are always going to be people (like yourself) who purport to be supporters of the club yet have a totally negative outlook.
You’re not related to the Reaper by any chance?

If you manage to get you head out of your arse and read paragraph 2, I state that I don't know what happens as we are more than likely stuck with the players we have as SS isn't a bottomless pit of money.
At no point iny post do I state that these are Evatts players, the point I'm trying to make is he is more than likely going to have to work with the squad he has.

By implying the fans got what they wanted strongly suggests that you were opposed to his appointment.
By the way, I don’t have my head up my arse and there are no paragraphs in your post, just sentences.
