His successful working life has been all about rolling the dice - albeit with a large amount of knowledge and savvy. You cannot though roll the dice in an industry in which you have no knowledge and expect a positive outcome. You have to question Sadler's abilities though as he keeps employing utter shit, executives, managers, we are in a far worse position on the field than we were before he bought the club, he has managed to take an amazing opportunity with the support massively behind him and no matter how much money he puts in we are at the foot of League 1 and beaten by bottom of league 2 with a squad of players who aren't fit to wear the shirt. Downes and his team are responsible but surely Sadler can see he's being taken for a very expensive ride? Same with Winter, WTF does he even do?
I think that's exactly it, he is completely out of his depth, it has nothing to do with his skill sets. Horse Racing is far more up his street. I still think, and have thought for a few years he wants to sell the club but his plans to get us promoted and get a good price is backfiring and I wouldn't mind betting he wants too much for it anyway. His successful working life has been all about rolling the dice - albeit with a large amount of knowledge and savvy. Course you can .His successful working life has been all about rolling the dice - albeit with a large amount of knowledge and savvy. You cannot though roll the dice in an industry in which you have no knowledge and expect a positive outcome.
That confirms it then. He did have a full set of "those" photos.*Drum roll
Right wing-back.
Rolled the dice with Critchley MK1 - good call. Rolled the dice with Appleton - no comment. Panicked into getting a so-called big name - Dino Mick - to pull us out of the mire - abject failure. The same applies to Bruce, being seduced into employing another faded big name was no doubt great for the ego, but not so good for the club. Anyway, it has all been said a thousand times, but who knows what is going to happen? Things are crazy bad.I think that's exactly it, he is completely out of his depth, it has nothing to do with his skill sets. Horse Racing is far more up his street. We best play them on Sunday as well then then we can’t be too critical of the result. We played half a team of kids.
But you keep justifying yourself…
Luton is a tough game for you’s.We best play them on Sunday as well then then we can’t be too critical of the result.
The question is which league? At least we can concentrate on the League…![]()
We’ve had mangers that’s haven’t played for the club and we’ve been bad
Nah... you were talking about previous managers who were players and failed. Not all were Alan Ball. Grayson had some success. Alan Brown did pretty well didnt he? Yet you took a dig at Evatt already.Take a look at where we are, another manager can't motivate
How would you say that's gone?Course you can .
You employ people who have the knowledge.
Trouble is our players don't want to play in any gamesI think the players just don't want to play in the VT cup games.
Along with the rest of our pathetic team, just can't for the life of me know why one player is blamed for our performances, especially when that one player is told to play out of his best positionDear Santa
For Xmas can I wake up and see that CJ has been loaned out to AFC Fylde
Thank you
Mixed so far in our case but in other cases such as Brighton , Leicester etc very well. How would you say that's gone?
I agree.Along with the rest of our pathetic team, just can't for the life of me know why one player is blamed for our performances, especially when that one player is told to play out of his best position
So, SpongeBob Square pants, can you please tell me and the rest of the forum, how many of the existing squad has been purchased by Evo.Well the fans got what they wanted, Ian Evatt.
Although I don't imagine Sadler haduch of a short list to work through.
I honestly don't know what Sadler does now, it not like any of these players are going to attract bids from other clubs so we're stuck with the useless lot of them.
Well said Kurt.Frankly I couldn’t give a shit about any other team but Blackpool FC going through their worst period since ownership change.
If you manage to get you head out of your arse and read paragraph 2, I state that I don't know what happens as we are more than likely stuck with the players we have as SS isn't a bottomless pit of money. So, SpongeBob Square pants, can you please tell me and the rest of the forum, how many of the existing squad has been purchased by Evo.
Some people are so impatient and quick to blame the manager when things go pear shaped when it is blatantly obvious that some of Evo’s inherited players are simply not good enough.
With that said there was a 100% improvement in the second half, which, in all my years of watching the pool, will probably go down as one of the most abysmal 45 minutes I have ever witnessed.
Evo has got to put his mark on the team and that won’t happen after a few games, but there are always going to be people (like yourself) who purport to be supporters of the club yet have a totally negative outlook.
You’re not related to the Reaper by any chance?
By implying the fans got what they wanted strongly suggests that you were opposed to his appointment. If you manage to get you head out of your arse and read paragraph 2, I state that I don't know what happens as we are more than likely stuck with the players we have as SS isn't a bottomless pit of money.
At no point iny post do I state that these are Evatts players, the point I'm trying to make is he is more than likely going to have to work with the squad he has.
