..... to be safe already?

The rest of this season is a bit of a free hit, if we have.

We haven't had many stress-free ends to seasons in recent times. It could be a bit of a novelty. 😀

Yes... so no need to worry about not going for a win in every game now. Grayson showed yesterday that he wants to play football and we did for spells. These new young lads are dynamite and just what we need to lift the gloom.

I still think 6 points from Gillingham and Bristol Rovers and you have a very different looking table. Neither in great form, both above us and I think if we can just gel on Tuesday I would be confident of such a result.

It’s a free hit Robbie - those three at the Bolton are dog ****

The season ended after losing to Reading’s kids in the cup at home. The rest of the season is about gelling the new players (that are actual ours!)

Thorniley, Howe, Ward and Madine will be here next season so I’d like to see them all feature a bit more

I think we will finish mid table. No chance of relegation. Next season we will have even better players and a real push for promotion

Fortunately there are some dire teams in this very poor division and that will guarantee our safety this season. SS will need to appoint a new manager if he wants us to play free flowing, entertaining, winning football next season and the sooner he does this the better.

Wiz mode on we won’t go down.

Wiz mode off I would probably agree right now but should one of those bottom 3 suddenly go on a winning run I’d be worrying no doubt about it.

Anyone still think we’ll finish above the Cod’s this season?

200/1 to go down. Objective bookies think we won't go down.

Not for a second do i think we will go down Wiz but I'd suggest there is a fair degree of subjectivity regarding the matter.

I doubt we are the same price to go down with every single bookmaker.

Not important, we are not going down.

We probably are safe but we certainly need to improve asap. This thread smacks of the kind of complacency that we can well do without. We need to look at how we can come out of the current decline pronto not sit back and think the rest of the season is some kind of free ride otherwise the problems will continue to mount just as they are currently.

Where are those 2/3 wins going to come from? The next half dozen games are far from guaranteeing any points at all.

On paper we should beat Tranmere and bolton at home. That would put us on 43 points and imagine that being enough this season with only 3 going down and the bottom 3 being cut adrift.

The fact we’re having this conversation when we were 4 points off automatic following the 3-1 win over Fleetwood shows you how awful the last few months have been

On paper we should have beaten Bolton away , playing against kids, Shrewsbury at home and Accy at home. 9 almost certain points, actual total 0. So I’m sorry to repeat where are these points coming from? Sunderland? Ipswich? Peterborough? As you say we shouldn’t be having this conversation, unfortunately under the current management the future is neither tangerine nor rosy.

It’s difficult to see but there was one a few days so I can only be hopeful a few more will follow in the coming weeks 😬
