You left everything to Mr Sadler Bob .My son doesn't really follow football (wtf!) but he said IF he did, he'd support Man City....
I adjusted my will on Friday.
My two girls know full well one question I will ask any potential suitor ....they both think I am an open minded father...except football...if he’s PNE it’s a no from meWith girls it’s hard. They’ve been to many matches but then find boys they know there is only one option though if they decide to re engage with the game
That is awful news 76 and I really feel for you. I would sooner eat my own tessies than support one of them teams! Good luck and tell your son that if he changes now, he'll regret it for ever when he's older.Living away from Blackpool, I am facing a tough fight to keep my eldest lad interested in Blackpool. His school mates are either Liverpool or Man United fans and he says he wants to support one of them! Anyone else lost the kids to another team!
We've two daughters in their 30's Lala and the eldest has tangerine blood despite having lived in Manchester since leaving uni. Brett & Charlie (& Sir Kenny) sent her wedding messages. The other who lives in Cheshire supports BFC but isn't as committed, as her husbands not bothered about football (a closet toffee). I'm proud to report that her 3 year old son our grandson has been a Seasider since birth & for as long as I live I swear he will stay that way! With girls it’s hard. I found going to secondary school had an impact on the girls, supporting Blackpool became a source of ridicule and the girls hated that. The son wore it as a badge of pride and for 12 months was on the front page of Consett F C website wearing a Blackpool shirt surrounded by bar codes. With girls it’s hard. I can associate with that Cuth. As a youth living in Warrington, surrounded by Mancs & Scouser fans (1 Chelsea, heaven knows why), I was like your son and saw supporting the Seasiders as being unique etc. I had many a scrap defending my honour and my team. However, it's not the done thing for girls to smack someone on the nose over football!I found going to secondary school had an impact on the girls, supporting Blackpool became a source of ridicule and the girls hated that.
