Hello Wembley my old friend...

Whilst it is great some fans will be allowed to go and as a Season Ticket holder I may be one of the “lucky” ones but it is really sad that it won’t be the usual “family and friend” gathering which generates a really special atmosphere .
I would be expecting in normal circumstances to go with my better half and see my nephew and his family along with my mates and their families.
If you think otherwise then let me remind you of Yeovil and Cardiff, even West Ham,though their fans did the utmost to ruin it and god knows what their reaction would have been if we had actually won.

I want to go but don’t know if I can be arsed with sitting on a train/coach with a mask on for hours to arrive only to find we can’t get in anywhere for a few beers. I’ll have a think about it. Assuming I can get tickets. May let someone else have the opportunity. I’ll sleep on it.

I Will go if I am lucky enough to get a ticket but travelling, especially alone, is not something I can say I would be looking forward to.
Yesterdays Drive over took over 2 hours what with the torrential rain and the traffic especially on the M60 but only 61 minutes on the return( and exactly 60 miles).By the time I got home my back and neck were stiff as hell, so a drive to Wembley isn’t overly appealing.Having researched the trains there appears to be a bank holiday schedule on the a West Coast Line ( from Manchester) which means the choice is not great and then there is the mask wearing, which ok I can cope with but not ideal.
I might drive to Beaconsfield and take the train from there as we did for the Cardiff final but that was with me and the better half.
