Managers have started to go already Dave at Charlton, Hibs, I just hope Sadler doesn’t keep Critchley anywhere near as long as Appleton, so 5 or 6 more games i’d say unless results suddenly start changing. If we don't win the next match will action be taken from the top?
How many games will it be before 'enough is enough'?
I hope you’re right, but I somehow can’t see him changing the system, even if he knows it needs to change. Having said that, he might try something different tonight; a non league game with no real risk.Personally I’ve always hated the ‘sack ‘em’ culture - the bloke has been here 5 minutes and we’re yet to see who comes in this week - a decent few days before the window and a good performance against Wigan will change things.
I think, like everyone, he has started way too cautiously but hopefully lesson learnt and we can all move on.
A single and on the album, 5-a-side.Good song that Ace by Paul Carrick.
Brave?Quite a few I would think. For SS to get rid of a second manager on a 4 year contract, would be a very brave admission of failure.
We have no god given right to win games in this division and dropping points is a given. It’s the manner of these performances which are alarming and us looking toothless as an attacking threat.I think Sadler is pragmatic enough to decide when is the right time, without bowing to pressure from petulant fans.
Ultimately after 10 games, if things haven’t improved, he’d have to assess whether there are replacements who could turn it around quicker than Critchley if he stayed. And I’d imagine there isn’t many suitable replacements.
I’d bet it’s not even crossed the boards mind to get rid. The football hasn’t been amazing but it’s quite easy to see we’re not far off. We’re 6th in the league based on xg/xga. It will click at the front end of the pitch.
I think a lot of fans are suffering with a relegation hangover. Missing the standard of the championship and expecting us to be winning every game.
We’re 6 in the league based on xg/xga! We’re 15th in the league according to points on the bloody board. I may be wrong but I don’t think promotion/ relegation are based on x bloody g.I think Sadler is pragmatic enough to decide when is the right time, without bowing to pressure from petulant fans.

They’re not but those numbers tend to actualise over the course of the season. And with performances to improve, it can only be a good signWe’re 6 in the league based on xg/xga! Those numbers mean bugger all, as I said it’s points that matter not what we’re expected to score .They’re not but those numbers tend to actualise over the course of the season. And with performances to improve, it can only be a good sign
That's rather extreme for you Dave.If we don't win the next match will action be taken from the top?

At his age, he needs more than most of us to see entertaining, attractive, winning football. Oh, and that applies to me as well, I think I’m next in line of age. That's rather extreme for you Dave.
Yeah exactly like the board did with Appleton,Obviously there are concerns at the moment, but I reckon the 10 league game mark is about time to take stock. Any less is a knee-jerk reaction to what may be short-term issues. Any longer and the season has started to slip away irretrievably, as it did last term.
Was it Donald Trump?Who said "Judge me in May"?
