Considering starters only for MOTM ๐Ÿค”

Jerry Yates - chosen by the match sponsors and loved by the fans. An early goal to rattle the cages, followed by another JY special. 20 goals this season!

Grant Ward - magnificent in midfield, calm under pressure, twisting and twirling his accurate passes - a strong contender.

Kenny Dougall - the man who is everywhere, fighting for every ball and back to his old dominating self.

Sullay Kaikai - what a man - what a very fine man! There are no words to describe his skills! Great goal.

Ellis Simms - gets bigger and stronger every game. What are they feeding him? Contributes in attack and defence. Deserved a goal.

Danny Ballard - has never seen a ball he can't head, no attacker he won't challenge. Immense!

Ollie Turton - what more praise can we heap on him? Active in defence, midfield and attack. Flawless.

Luke Garbutt - dominated the left wing for the full length of the pitch. Opponents fear his set pieces.

Jordan Thorniley - maybe an error for first goal, but that is the fate of defenders that mistakes are remembered. Came back strongly. ๐Ÿ‘

Elliot Embleton - like a stealth aircraft. Impossible to mark in the final third. A well deserved goal.

Captain Mighty Chris Maxwell - when there is crisis, up steps Captain max to save the day. Offers calming advice great moonwalker on goal kicks. ๐Ÿ˜‚

After long and careful consideration I award MOTM to.............

ALL OF THEM! ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ This was a team of the season performance!

There were spells where we played some lovely football. When it got scrappy that suited us because we cleared our lines and regrouped. A decent performance. Husband, Greterson and Egg potato on the bench is encouraging to see.
A great team effort. All of them.

Cracking post ๐Ÿ‘

If Simms bulks up (he's already big!), and keeps his footwork neat and tidy, he's going to be playing in the Prem.
Agreed heโ€™s a big lad! Different proposition for defenders to Yates who is an absolute grafting machine and a great goal scorer to boot! As for Simms and the Prem, if he stays with us then hopefully he will! ๐Ÿค”

No, Everton know what they're doing. Seamus didn't stay with us.

It's often been said that when we were struggling that the choice of Man of the Match was only between 2/3 players and we said at the time that if everyone put in a shift we'd be a force to be reckoned with and so is the case.
