Trying to get my head round the goings on re another scandalous, mega money laundering episode by a big faceless bank! Makes you realise how powerful and unanswerable these financial leeches are to ordinary people.

Yet I got stopped from putting £50 cash into my daughters HSBC account, a few months back, as part of their money laundering prevention policy!

😂

How much money did the country spend on bailing the banks out a decade or so ago? The initial outlay was apparently £144 billion as part of a £500 billion overall package. I think that's a lot more than the furlough scheme (approx £14 billion a month) but there's a few on here telling us that we can't afford to carry it on if we need to. It's an odd world.

Never forgotten reading about that ‘special department’ inside RBS I think it was, incentivised and responsible for squeezing small businesses with a view to acquiring their valuable assets after they have been driven to bankruptcy.
Got to love capitalism.

They’re a law unto themselves which makes them the most powerful and richest organisations on earth, unelected, and unaccountable!
