Hubby

Don't think we've had an update, it seemed a light injury so maybe he wasn't risking him on Tuesday as it was too soon after he'd picked it up.

Yes I would rather play Husband as a CH than Thorniley. Both similar height, however Husband has better distribution, more pace and overall a better defender.

Thorniley played LB for Accy when he was on loan there, does that make him playing out of position also, Wizzer? I must've missed the part in the coaching manual that states players must stick to and only play 1 position. Maybe give Pep a call, I'm sure he'll clear it all up for you.

Not sure that is true at all tbh.
 
Thorniley wins a few headers but is starting to give the impression that he is off soon and can't be arsed. Plus his distribution is poor. The game slows down every time he has the ball in a bit of space. Would prefer the Viking if fit, otherwise Husbando.

I don't think Husband is that much of a better defender.

He's been sent off a few times with us and has individually cost us points. He isn't better in the air, that's for sure. Not convinced he's quicker either and his distribution has been as poor as Ollie Turton at times.

I think there is a good player in Thorniley but Critch ruined his confidence by trying to play every player in the squad at CB before him.

I don't buy Husband is that great. I'm glad we have him but I don't see him as a better option at CB.
 
MOM last night, Maxwell didn't have a shot to save thanks to the number of blocks Husband got in. Won most headers and distribution good. Definitely great cover, I wasn't his biggest fan but he's winning me over.
 
He was excellent last night. In fact he puts his body bravely on the line most games. I reckoned at least 2 possibly 3 times last night and one off the line the game before
