I accept that I will be. I'm just more concerned with our performance vs how we played in the home game against them. This is nowhere near as good as we were in that match. It's not a disaster but just thought we were very poor and totally reliant on long balls up to Madine. Yates is feeding off scraps again.

More composure and determination needed second half I think. I'm normally quite positive, but that was extremely frustrating because our players are capable of better than that.

Our last ditch defending is keeping us in this, otherwise we are rubbish. No decent forward play without hitting Madine. Kaikai may as well not be on the pitch; nothing coming from either wing, shots missing by miles, Husband and Turton getting turned inside out. It's poor.
Get Yates into the game deeper, let him pick it up and run at them. I saw him do it once and it may be a good way through.

I'm going for my eye test later this week, I feel it would be good if I could take the ref and his two dummies along as well. We've been pushed, shoved, pulled and been given nothing by the officials. Yet if we breathe out near one of their players they are given a free kick.

Weve hit Madine 4 times and arguably should have scored at least a couple. Nothing wrong in playing to him if he's dominating the defenders, and he is.
 
Bez has not taken his man on once. Dithered and lost possession then they go and score as we play statues across the back 4. Frustrating stuff.
 
No quality. Sloppy and no creativity. It doesn't change. It's glaringly obvious what is needed and until we sign 1 or 2 creative players and a goalscorer nothing will change.
 
The annoying thing, we had the ball in their half the first 5 mins and they break and score. Brabin then says “Hull started brighter” 😳
