Given how Critchley was a surprise appointment, I doubt we'll make an obvious (or quick) appointment.

Wonder be surprised to see us look for a manager who has come through the St George's Park structure with a strong coaching pedigree.
 
That doesn’t matter. Just needs to keep us solid and in this division whilst funds are limited.

Yeah but helps to have someone good to listen to.

But I think we'll be fine, as said elswhwrr no man is bigger than the club.

The driving force of energy behind bfc is the fans, the passion and encouragement.

The club will get someone in who meets our values, wants to play attacking football like we were promised.

We move on.
 
1 year into his 3 year deal so would be a case of buying out his contract.

I'd love for him to come back but I doubt it'll happen right now.

I agree I think that’s the route we will go down or some up and coming manager from lg1 or lg2. I don’t see us going to the usual out of work manager merry go round, I think we will go for another Critch type - develops youth and develops the players we have, identifies lower league/academy talent etc. I also think (hope) we will move quickly if we can, can’t afford to be a club without a manager when the players return for pre season on 23 June ( I think?). We faffed around a bit when we appointed Critchley so think we will have learned from that. I see you going for Liam Manning, Evo and I know everyone will hate this but Robinson at Oxford - he is not everyone’s cup of tea but ticks all the boxes we want.

Ensure we stay in this division and keep moving forward. Would'nt be surprised if Charlie Adam was interested with
a good assistant ! He would bring more support to the club.

Whatever happened to that youth team coach that we had that went to the FA? Was he called richie Kyle or something? I know it's nothing to do with the critch news but just remembered him.
 
Just remembered how Evo was dissed by Mansford prior to appointing Critchley. So, very much doubt that conversation will be taking place but stranger things have happened in football.

All this thread proves is whoever they get in, I doubt it’ll get everyone’s seal of approval.
 
Would Evo be interested ? We snubbed him last time around when he was at Barrow for not having enough experience and then proceeded to give the job to the even less experienced Neil Critchley !
