I’m pretty confident there isn’t a single Blackpool fan the wouldn’t want SS at the helm. We’re football supporters, we moan.
That's funny I live a mile away from Boundary Park and it was dry all day!The point I’m making is it can’t all be blamed on the weather. Ours was the only match called off, my son lives in Oldham and it was pouring down all day, they played. It didn’t start raining in Blackpool until about 3, postponed, it’s not just the weather. I’m not one calling for anybody’s job, just an explanation from the club, which we eventually got. I would now think that any fair minded person, including myself, is now satisfied, and is prepared to see what happens close season.
I don't think expectation is an issue. I'm sure Simon has expectations. It just takes time and a helluva lot of money to make them a reality. Fans are stressed after a year of lockdowns, no live football, no social life. I don't think anyone genuinely expects things to happen immediately. Most are just venting. Refs and linesmen are not available for that purpose just now.Loco
fair point. The trouble is, that nowadays there is an expectation that something will be done about it. That expectation leads to impatience, some of which is misplaced and misdirected.
It's not an opinion though. It's a speech to Simon Sadler belittling other supporters. "Oh please ignore these yobbos dearest Simon". I very much doubt Mr Sadler would give a monkeys about a few throw away comments about the pitch after the abandoned match even if he did read AVFTT.
