Few positives on Nathan Jones and how he’d fit into the club and change the team, I'd definitely be happy if he got the job

That's a very well put together report and you can't argue with it. At least we look like ewe are going to get a new manager who wants to play attractive football with fire in their belly.

Very good article both about our problems on the pitch and what Jones has to offer. Gets my vote 👍

this won’t go down well with that OG, Mark my words he won’t be happy.

There's a good point about Nuttall in there too. Far too often I thought that Pool were not playing to his strengths and the article also says what I've thought all season, that they've relied on Gnanduillet and Feeney far too much up front.
Personally I wouldn't mind Kevin Nolan as the next manager but if it is Jones then at least you'll have someone on the sidelines with a bit of passion instead of a person stood lifeless with his arms folded all game.
Who buys into the theory that it was Thommo and Tony Parks that got the best out of that squad in 2007🤔

"In some of Pool’s games this season, one might have felt sorry for Joe Nuttall: the striker, signed from Blackburn in the summer, always puts in an excellent shift but most occasions on which he triggers the press, nobody appears to follow him up. In a Nathan Jones system, Nuttall’s work rate could be put to better use – the same might be said for Nathan Delfouneso, who is also full of energy and either player could relish playing in a side with more central creativity."

Basics first - teach the lad how to kick a ball and show a bit of passion!
