Just beaten 0-1 in Dublin by minnows And 98th ranked team Luxembourg in the World Cup qualifier.
Manager Stephen Kenny has still to win in 10 games since be appointed. 😮
And to think some were whinging on here we could only put 5 past San Marino. 🤐

Can’t agree with you on that Limerick. Who are the world beaters Kenny is not picking. He is stuck with indifferent Prem players and players from the Championship which for all the hype about unpredictability is a pretty poor level by international standards. The older players, the Hendricks, Brady, Long are all in poor form.

The people who should be ashamed are the likes of John Delaney who paid no heed to the grassroots game in Ireland over the last 20 years whilst GAA and rugby union progressed. Just feathered their own nest instead.

No harm bloody league of Ireland manager managing the national side os a joke

Chris Hougton would be my choice
Not a hope in hell.
He's already at Forest and why would be take a job in his sixties as an international manager with at least 3 years before he could qualify for a tournament again.
And he's not really Irish 😁

His mam is from Limerick believe it or not mate, Mick McCarthy took it over 60 years of age, i would have disagreed totally but I forgot he was Forest Gaffer and leaving them for Ireland would be silly in fairness
