Is it time for Klopp to move on?

Maybe he has, but surely given as he won Liverpool's only title in 3 decades, he surely deserves the chance to rebuild the side.

He could not win anything for 5 years, but he's still won more titles than Souness, Houlier, Evans, Rafa, Rodgers and Hodgson combined.

Doesn't that count for something? Or do you get rid of people at the first sign of failure now?

Also, it's good craic all these defeats, so no!

He will recharge in the summer but a bad start to next season will see him gone I think.
Wouldn't surprise me if he went in the next five minutes to be honest though. Football waits for no man.

No he's the best manager in decades

The owners need to back him with money

If you are going to compete with man city he needs funds

As a manager he is amongst top five globally

The injury to van dyke cost them massively

He needs to stay and get quality players

According to the latest rumours he’s off at the end of the season to take up the German National sides job which will be made available to him, and Stevie G will be returning to Anfield.

No I think he's got so much credit in the bank for how he's taken them from also rans to winning the biggest trophies. He had a season like this at Dortmund and bounced back. And he's achieved it without anywhere near the spending power of City. Or United and Chelsea either. He did a similar thing in Germany where he dragged Dortmund up from nowhere and knocked Bayern Munich off the top.
But the owners need to back him with cash if they want to be competing with the likes of City. Their spending since winning the Champions League in 2019 has been very low compared to other clubs.
I can't see him being sacked and the only way he'll go is of his own choice.
And to write him off now would be foolish. He's got form for bouncing back at Mainz and Dortmund.

They also moved to a new training ground this season. It's a bit like a luxury holiday camp. Maybe the players now find the rough and tumble of playing real matches a bit too much away from their cosy, pampered, luxury hangout.

Don’t think any manager can be judged on this season to be fair - positive or negative.
It’s been an artificial situation with no crowds and mass substitutions.

Psychologically this season is unique - when crowds return you can have a normal season again and judge managers. Some players may have thrived this year with the reduced stadium pressure, but will go missing when crowds come back in big games.

As an owner I’d really think twice about my judgements this year - I wouldn’t get over giddy about a player / manager and also be careful not to make snap judgements on the negative. Id say Liverpool have suffered from a lack of depth in key positions and more importantly will be one of the teams that really benefit from full stadiums

I have no interest whatsoever in the PL but it does make me smile when i see Man U fans gloating at Liverpools demise when their own team are probably going to finish a very poor second to their main rivals.

Some teams thrive off of a crowd. Man City don't. Liverpool do. I wouldn't under estimate the impact that's had.

Have to say, it's very surprising their complete loss of form. A few defeats you could expect but to be so far off the pace is a concern for him I'm sure. I don't think he's lost the dressing room but i think there's some very big egos in there who all want to be top dog. Said it before but just by watching them sometimes i suspect Salah and Mane don't get on and that is taken onto the pitch. Perhaps it's time for at least on of them to move on, probably Salah. Klopps still a great manager though with a good track record.

They won't pot him, 2 reasons 1 being cost and the other he ended a 30 year drought of not winning the league, he will stay.

Come summer once the injuries start to clear a couple of changes in the squad they will be second favourite to win the league next year bookies are rarely far away.

All of you who say he shouldn’t go, I just wonder if we lost 5 home games in a row would you be backing our manager (irrespective of his past record)?
Think about it, when Critchley got off to a poor start a lot on here were saying he should go and shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place.
The situation at Liverpool will be the epitome of fickleness.
Watch this space....................

Joachim Loew has today confirmed he will step down as the German Manager after the Euros. German Bundesliga clubs normally move very quickly in naming their new managers even whilst the current manager is still in place. So will be interesting to see if they move quickly to name Loews replacement.

No thread tonight started after they've just won, it seems to only happen when they're losing.

Yet apparently the board is full of closet scousers, not Mancs 🤔

In the papers today Klopp has said he is going nowhere, he hasn’t been approached for the job and he won’t be applying.
Gerard says he has a lot more planned for Rangers.
So get your money on Klopp leaving and Gerard replacing him.

That’s how l read it too, it could be Klopps last chance to manage his national team.
