Is Turton improving

Earlier this season he got bullied off the ball and was targeted as our weak link.
Still a long way to go but I think his general play is improving, possibly having better players in front of him helps.

I think he suits being in a back 3, I don't think he is a great right back, so the current set up plays to his strengths, which is good.

Current set up seems to be slowly working to more than just his strengths, everyone now at least seems to be playing in their proper positions and knows what they're doing.
I'd like to see Bola be given another chance down the left now he'll actually have someone to cover for him when he bombs forward.

He makes too many glaring errors and offers little going forward. You can't fault his effort and far large period his defending is solid. If he can cut out the silly mistakes he'd be a good squad player.

If you watch replays of Bolton's goal, you will see it is Feeney who does not cover the run of their player not Turton.

Theres currently Edwards, Heneghan and Thorniley who will all want a place in the back 3, Moore and Husband are 2 of the first names on the team sheet so if anyone is honna be dropped itd have to be Turton........then you've got some fans doing the usual thing and screaming for Rowe to play based on a few good touches against us in an Fa cup game and Bola for the other side so theres plenty of options if form isnt deemed to he good enough.

Thought he did OK again today - I'd say him and Husband have actually been heroes this last 3 games - only 2 goals conceded with effectively one centre half 👍
