It’s all a bit great isn’t it

Nonsense. You said they were "really good chances". They were half chances at best. And the ball at a difficult height and the presence of the defender really made it difficult for Madine too. Again a half chance at best.
So that's 7 chances at least away from home at a team in the automatic places and you're saying it was 'mediocrity'.

Whatever. You've made up your mind and it's never been known to change.

7 chances? Not sure where you get seven from but if you include Madine heading the ball down to a player outside the box who has to hit it first time as "a really good chance" then indeed your mind is made up. I tend to have a more realistic expectation of what a really good chance is and what can be expected from L1 players.

We had 12 shots. You're saying none of them were chances regardless of how they ended up? I'm saying that getting in good situations is creating chances. Clearly we're not good at finishing them, but that doesn't mean they werent chances in the first place.

Many teams get into good situations but don't always create a chance. A good situation isn't "a really good chance".
Anyway i'm just watching Mastermind. First guys subject is the London Olympics. John Humphrys said that 204 countries turned up to compete. Just saying like.

One of those 'countries ' was all the Russian athletes under the Olympic flag. Pretty sure they dont get a seat at the UN, and neither do Scotland, Wales, England or Northern Ireland 😉

Ekpiteta didnt kick the ball at all but it was still a great chance.

They still are all different countries though, aren't they?

Changed my mind on Gnanduillet and Feeney as players. Once again, it's you making things up.

The United Kingdom. Clue us in the name. Technically, they have regional status. If Scotland get independence they would be, but they haven't, so they're not.

So Scotland isn't a country then? They compete in the World Cup as a region then. Not interested in technically, they are a country. I'm pretty sure if you ask any Scotsman or woman if they were a country or a region they'd tell you they are a country..Why is that? It's because they are.

Not watching University Challenge then, 20’s

Anyway, article below should be posted every time someone starts this countries in the world bollox

Certainly am. Them music ones were easy. Advantage f being a fair bit older than the contestants. I actually did as well as I've ever done on Only Connect too. Got Belgium and Luxembourg, right, got Gold rush after the second clue and got another one, can't remember which one now.

There is a distinct effort by a number of posters who seem hell bent on curbing / stifling / belittling anyone's opinion other than "everything is magnificent". NO criticism is allowed of any aspect of the club.

MAC - I don't think that it's a matter of either everything is magnificent or everything is chite.

I certainly agree with seaside/LALA regarding the shift towards demanding everything immediately and I think this was perfectly demonstrated by the reaction of many on here to Critchley after our early season losses.

I also agree with Phil in that there are certainly times when posters offering constructive criticism - of Critchley or also the club and associated - are shouted down with, "Do you want the Oyston's back", etc, etc and their valid concerns are dismissed without discussion/debate.

Perhaps there is a middle ground ?

I am pretty sure that Simon Sadler will not want to be remembered as an owner who ran things slightly better than the Oyston's but Rome was not built in a day.

I'm almost certain Simon Saddler would have mixed feelings throughout this season regarding performances. And whilst backing the manager (quite rightly) I'd be almost certain he thought what a peculiar set of Noddy's we have bowing back and forth on here devoid of opinion or criticism regardless of performance or result (should he ever read it - which he probably does from time to time).

I'd also imagine that he might read this forum and possibly dismiss the nonsense and pay attention to anything constructive.

Your comment on "Noddy's" has probably ensured that you are in his "ignore" list, that's assuming you weren't in there already.

More than a bit great last night, marvellous, super, smashing. Promotion bandwagon well and truly back on UTMP

Understand why the OP was posted, but it is a daft debate, we are work in progress. Hard to say where we are until all games in hand are played, I think much nearer top six than bottom.

Can't knock Hazi though, just biting back agains the serial moaners on here. We all know who they are.
