It's going to be a good summer.

I agree, I think next year is going to be good for us as well. Bruce gets a pre-season and (hopefully) a decent budget. The likes of Birmingham and Wrexham will likely be gone, which will level up the playing field. Fundamentally we have a good nucleus of a squad, we just need a couple of wow signings to take us to the next level!
 
I'm looking forward to next season . I think we will be a lot better compared to the start of this season . Even if Bruce goes at the end of next season ,I don't think we will have too many duck eggs in our squad . Hopefully we will know where we stand with the SS situation and I think we will be in the play offs at least ,maybe even automatic.

Sadler finally selling up?

That would be a great start to it get an owner in who splashes the cash training ground, east stand, the team because little is going to happen under the same tenure as he’s got far bigger things to worry about come 2026 than BFC.

So, who’s going to buy the club and splash the needed 30m-50m on top of the purchase price?

Have you seen a few sheikhs, Yanks or oligarchs on The Prom recently or are you just deluded?

Do you honestly think that is going to happen?

If SS is into the club to the tune of £30 million do you think someone is going to come in and pay anything like that and then invest another £30 million plus on the east stand and training ground plus a load of expensive players when the ground is half empty as it is ?

It certainly looks quite nice for the next week ☀️ seriously I hope you’re right & we can start the season a little more like we’ve seen of late, yesterday an exception.

Other than one of the top Premiership clubs, which club in this country is a saleable asset? Yet plenty of lower league have been purchased over the years. The Venky's are currently tipping up 20 million a year at Blackburn compared to Simon's 5 million?!

I don’t get the point you are trying to make, unless you’re suggesting that someone may come along and pump 20m a year into us in which case I’d say that you are badly deluded.
 
You'll be able to buy most Yank companies for premium bonds or first class stamps if Trumps stock exchange brilliance continues at this pace.

The point is quite simple to understand. There are people around who are quite willing to take over loss making football clubs and put money in there. At no point during my post did I suggest someone would put 20 million into our club. Blackburn play at a higjer level and will have a much higher wage bill.

I never cared about the east much or the training ground or the electronic advertising boards or the sprinkler system or the rusty area’s of the roof or stupid microwave meals on the concourse or spending shed loads of money on a nice new outfit for Bloomfield bear every 2 years or spending thousands over the last few years on tat to put in the club shop that’s made in china like pencil sharpeners or pencil cases or bfc branded air fresheners for cars that smell like peking duck for 10 minutes after taking the wrapper off or stick on badges for your rear car window that as in my case are guaranteed to get your Lamborghini keyed when in the Preston area… probably but I’ve had similar happen in my Citroen relay van.
It’s all very well to be looking like a club who are moving forward off the pitch but me let’s get the players in and forget about the other things that make us look more “professional “
