Not sure why, i really like the commentary

They are like a double act, yes they may get names wrong and spill coffee etc

But its much better than the sanitised world of sky sports and political correctness

Keep it up boys, i really hope they do every game

Both proper fans as well, you can hear the passion in their voices 👌

Chissie isn't a nobber. We get his son sometimes as the expert in matches down South. He's a Pool fan as well.
Chissie can be infuriating but being a Blackpool fan is infuriating. He does seem to be a bit of a double act with Brett at the moment and I do think somerimes they must be in a "bubble"

Brilliant aren't they?

The Morecombe and Wise of commentary

I reckon Chizza has realised that most uneducated Blackpool supporters can’t understand that as a BBC representative he had to appear neutral and couldn’t just wildly support a pitch invasion. Because of that and probably because - legend as he maybe - Brett is as erudite as Bez from the Happy Mondays, the Chizzle has decided to give it full on comedy.

As Pip says; the pair are like Morecambe and Wise, only Chiz is both straight and funny man. It’s not possible to get all that stuff wrong whilst sound like a normal commentator. As Eric might have said, he’s simply saying all the right words, but not necessarily in the right places.

Another spurious run chase...Chisnall is abject and I am surprised you are so supportive of a man who ridiculed the fans in his blinkered support of Owen and Karl...he should be nowhere near Bloomfield Road in my opinion. Brett is a legend and should be paired with someone much better.
Thats all in the past

We aren't a big enough club to ostracize fellow fans for past mistakes

Granted its nice to remind them now and again

But we are all fans of the mighty live and let live ..........

Bloody hell mate

If we are going down that route the majority of this site should be in chains for how they supported the Oyston regime against fellow fans
The difference is he was a voice in the media with an audience...he didnt have to take sides but he clearly did. If he had ignored the issue and refused to comment as Sir Jimmy did then fair enough. He was totally supportive of the Oystons as you well know. No more runs for you on this thread from me. I am a surprised you have taken this path.

I must admit I really don't think either of them are very good but the thread and some of the comments made in the home life thread really were in very poor taste. Quite shameful really.

Brett's always entertaining, especially when he can't find the right word. He's also the world record holder for the number of "ya know" he can get into a sentence.

Yeah i think he's funny

Makes the i follow experience better for sure

Certainly better than the cockney geezer who did Gillingham and Wimbledon

My 2 favourites last night.
Second Half, ball in South Stand for a Wigan corner, " Now, has that gone out "
Replay of the goal " Kai Kai finishes, for his second goal of the game "
It's becoming a bit Colemanballs and i enjoy it.

Yeah its funny

Listening to Brett is like standing next to a fellow fan who shouts the same things over and over again

"Clear it"
"Shoot"
"O'Kane you're shit"

I was just about to post Chizzy is fast becoming our very own David Coleman! Lol. Who was once said to let sentences leave his mouth without letting his brain check if they made sense first. “Forest have now lost 6 matches without winning!“ 🤣

Never understood run chasing on here. Brett is indeed a Pool legend but he’s useless at commentary. Chisnall is a has been and should be put out to pasture.
Bloody awful

Nice one Phil. Big score incoming.

I always liked Chissi, and indeed he is a fan.

What did it for me was his abject and open criticism of the Huddersfield protest and other matters following. That’s nothing to do with ‘working for the BBC’ - he was outright hostile and hasn‘t reflected and/or apologised.

Eighteen months later he was still insistent that fans needed to give up on their wasted toxic protests and get back to supporting the team. Supported ably by Lenny Jonrose.

I actually feel cheated by Chisnall. All those years growing up I listened to his Radio Lancs commentary hanging on his every word, now I’ve got pictures to what he says, it was all fraudulent. It wasn’t a corner/throw-in, no it’s a goal kick after all. It wasn’t Marvin Bryan running down the wing it was actually James Quinn. It wasn’t a great save by Lee Martin it was actually Melvin Capleton.

I’m not mad I’m just disappointed.

There was a clip on BBC of him sat in his back garden way after the pitch invasion of him saying “careful what you wish for”.

He might be a Blackpool fan but he’s clueless.

When I agreed with The Mods that young Phil could come back to
serve his apprenticeship I said he needed to be controversial but polite. I think he's doing OK but I've had to mark him down on a couple of things on the football side of his threads.
Dougall is not like Perkins, I think it's the hair colour that's confused him.
Failing to spot we are playing 4-4-2 is another.
But overall a good effort.

Chissy had a mare last night even by his standards. I wondered if I had a time delay at one point.

Having seen the games and listened to the comms, it's going to be difficult to just listen to the game again as you know something different is happening than the radio says.

Once I started watching games on ifollow rather than listenning to Chissie's commentary it made we wonder what actually happened in all those games.
But Chissie is just part of the furniture, he drives me mad, but he's harmless and I can think of alot of other things to get more upset over.

For anger management reasons I listen to the away commentary, which overall is far better. Watching the dross being churned out earlier this season and listening to those two clowns made me incredibly angry. Listening to the away commentary getting frustrated when we are winning is very amusing. The Wigan commentators thought they were better team last night.

I like it too. Give me Chissy and Brett over Alan Green. Johnathan Pierce anyday.
Inadvertantly hilarious at times. I think he may just gain cult anti hero status
