He's the youth player who's impressed me most. What I relly liked was when we went down to ten men against Cheltenham, he played on the right of midfield and was excellent. That's a sign of a real player to me, out of position and still excelling. He looks really balanced and aware as a player.

Took his goals against Newcastle and Chelsea very well and seems a real handful at U18s level. Clearly has a lot of potential so it'll be interesting to see how the club handle his career, hopefully a couple of well selected loans to develop him even further. Well done Jake!

And don't forget he's a first year scholar and only turned 17 this January. He certainly looks to have a promising future.

I’ve been chanting this mantra for years, if they’re good enough they’re old enough. How old was Ball when he made his debut ? What about Rooney and quite a few more.
