Has completed his loan at Bradford and is back on the books at Blackpool. The fella's had a horrible year and probably hates everything about the club having left the security and comfort of being the main man at Carlisle to join us, be shipped straight out and then suffer a serious injury which left him playing only 4 games all season. I hope he feels he has something to prove and get's the chance to do just that as his form at Carlisle before we brought him in suggests he's got something about him.

Never saw enough if him to have an opinion.

Well thought of at Carlisle and scored a load of goals from midfield. I'd like to see him get a chance.

Not sure if grayson tactics helped most of our creative players except Feeny and gnando, so who knows?
Yep, I too thought he'd be a very good signing. Not really given a chance under Grayson.

He was a 1 goal in 5 games man at Carlisle when we signed him.
Similar record to Phil Clarkson in lower league.
Other than Charlie I struggle to think of a decent goal return from a midfielder in recent years & something we were crying out for this season.
Obviously if we get quality Prem loanees again then he'll be out of the picture but if not, & he can get over the injury, then I would like to think Critchley will at least give him a chance.

Carlisle United are keen on a move for Blackpool midfielder Jamie Devitt, according to journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter

I thought that pic someone put up was a bit unfair and so have found one where he doesn't look like an extra from an Apocalyptic movie 🙄

Carlisle United and Bolton Wanderers are both after Blackpool midfielder Jamie Devitt, according to journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter (see tweet below).

Are we missing something with this lad or is that his level?

If he goes then no we are missing nothing.... Critch knows best.
Gut feeling is that he is a div 2 player based purely on the fact that he didn't get a chance here and was farmed out pretty quickly. Now only Div 2 teams are looking at him and no teams in our div.

Come on, he is a young bloke trying to make a career for himself. Given he has not really played for us some of the comments are unjustified.
Young bloke he's 30 he's coming to the end of his career or at the most his best paid ones.
He's a fourth division player and nowt wrong with that we just bought a load of crap last summer.

Any chance of him returning to Carlisle then?
Does anyone know if the manager will give these lads a chance, or is he (understandably) focused on building his own team, to play his system.

Whether it’s just me I don’t know but I like our players to have a bit of stardust and charisma about them. Look at this guy!! What 10 year old kid would want his name on the back of their shirt?

So, its only stardust and charisma you are looking for Mem, don't you know that for every Bobby Moore there is a Nobby Styles, for every Suddick there is a Bently? Think on Blackpool FC you should only sign good looking lads with a certain charm about them in future.

Both you and Johnno are on the wrong track. What has the lads appearance got to do with anything. Wayne Rooney is hardly an oil painting but you wouldn’t be making such disparaging remarks if he signed for us. Peter Crouch was another ungainly looking lad and he didn’t do to bad either, ask his wife. The point being no one can help their appearance and I’m sure they are not unaware, but that in no way reflects on their ability in their chosen profession nor their character as a person.

Ffs, Brett looked like Steptoe and we've all seen the pictures of Charlie Adam this year looking twice his age. GTF is the most unglamorous man to ever walk on a football pitch, Crainey looked like he was about 45 and so on... Baps had a weird shaped head, Evo and Gilks could have been models... for one of those shops that sells odd sized clothes. Vaughan had a touch of the goblin about him.

That side was hardly full of hunks. I think there's only DJ I can think of off the top of my head who looked a bit 'glam'

What is this bizarre obsession with footballers being eye candy?

Where are Bolton getting all this money from?

Devitt’s still got a year left so I can see us asking for a bit of a fee.

Doubt we will demand big bucks for a lad who signed on a free and then never played a game

Still I thought they were screwed financially, just don’t get how they can pay anything. Coupled with Eoin Doyle’s 3 year contract. Mental.

Yeah I do agree it confuses me when I see teams that are supposedly skint paying transfer fees for players when we've spent so many years living off nothing but free transfers and has beens as a club supposedly in the black

Good luck to the lad - no way good enough for a team aspiring to finish near the top of Division 1 but can do a job in league 2.

Bolton singing Antoni Sarcevic after he left Plymouth.

wonder if they need Devitt now, very similar sort of player.
