Exactly. He gets put through twice all season, 1 goal and hits the post (unlucky)!First clear cut chance all season, goal!
He’s not, he’s playing central, off Madine.About time Yates played wide, like he did at Swindon, with Madine down the middle. And not surprised he's now scored.
......with freedom, like I said he should. Oh yeah.....He’s not, he’s playing central, off Madine.
Your medal is in the post mate......with freedom, like I said he should. Oh yeah.....
Cost us the goal though.Anybody who says Turton hasn't had a good game today is mental
No need. I've no room.Your medal is in the post mate
Wingers get the better sometimes. If you get chance to see it again, Marv let it run instead of putting his foot through it.Cost us the goal though.
I know it’s sad dragging up an old post, but this lad will be a fans favourite when we get back. Can we please get off his back. He’s a clever player and we have provided zero quality to him.
Watch his goals online, not just his finishing but his movement and positioning. Not a one trick pony either, as he has the ability to score from different positions / situations. Watch also the service he got.
So many moaners, just don’t understand the game. People moaning about Yates, but thinking that Williams is what we need. You couldn’t make it up.
Every player we buy the expectation is ridiculous. If you want good football you need players like Yates. NC needs to get his head up and play Kaikai just behind in a central role, as he’s the only player we’ve got that is capable of playing a clever / defence splitting pass.
We have players that might give 100%, great, but they create absolutely nothing of value. Yates works his socks off and has the ability to be a great striker for us. He needs service and he needs fans behind him.

Well done once again pal. With the exception of one season in league2, Yates who is 24 in December, has no goalscoring record to speak of. I agree service has been poor but I'm afraid Yates is ordinary, a workhorse rather than a prolific goalscorer.

...and if you are Honest you will have thought the same at the time. Too cowardly to say or admit it at the time no doubt. Grow a pair!62 year and still spouting spot on again eh?
...and no doubt you were thinking exactly the same at the time about someone who went 10 games without a goal. You're obsession with me is very worrying...I'm spoken forAnd one season in league 1
I'm certainly not itk, but perhaps CJ's absence has forced NC/CC to change the way we play?Every credit to Yates who I would say is performing much better than anyone thought based on his early season performances. Credit too must go to his team mates who are giving him the service allowing to cause havoc amongst opposition defences. I think it would be fair to say that most on here thought it would be Hamilton who would turn out to be our best investment but Yates has I think surpassed him. It seems odd in a way that our best and most consistent form has been without CJ in the team. That's not to write him off of course because together they could form one helluva partnership.
No, we were thinking ‘he’s really good and just needs some time’. See my earlier responses to your utter bollocks! No obsession, just the short life expectancy of your many outlandish opinions is a constant source of comedy...and no doubt you were thinking exactly the same at the time about someone who went 10 games without a goal. You're obsession with me is very worrying...I'm spoken for
I didn't hear the bit where he said 'I started to think maybe I have no goalscoring record and will never reach Mark Cullen levels of greatness'He did himself say in his interview yesterday how poor he had beenin his first 10 games for us which at that stage to be fair was all we had to go on
Hey Bray, this was you talking about Critch on Oct 10th62 year and still spouting spot on again eh?
Have i missed something? Everyone on his back? I really think people are bore shitless and just like to start bollocks on here and take away the feel good factor. Can we please get off his back. He’s a clever player and we have provided zero quality to him.

Check the date, Micky. October o/pHave i missed something? Everyone on his back? I really think people are bore shitless and just like to start bollocks on here and take away the feel good factor.
Yes, but it was harder after that game but I did not bang on about it for the rest of the season despite Critch coming good. There is a real difference in being peed off after a bad game and making a life long habit of banging the same old drum, don't you think?Hey Bray, this was you talking about Critch on Oct 10th
‘Its getting harder to stick with him after watching today’
glass houses, stones and stuff
Liar. At least I have an opinion. Your cowardice is an embarrassment. No, we were thinking ‘he’s really good and just needs some time’. See my earlier responses to your utter bollocks! No obsession, just the short life expectancy of your many outlandish opinions is a constant source of comedy
What? all the best mateLiar. At least I have an opinion. Your cowardice is an embarrassment.
Except you can go back through that thread and see that some were calling for patience, in effect, and he would come good. You wouldn't have given him that time. If we'd been in the ground you would be booing him....and if you are Honest you will have thought the same at the time. Too cowardly to say or admit it at the time no doubt. Grow a pair!
October post pal, oh and I didn’t resurrect it.Have i missed something? Everyone on his back? I really think people are bore shitless and just like to start bollocks on here and take away the feel good factor.
Say what? You are an embarrassment full stop. Yes we had a different opinion back then to you can you not remember?Liar. At least I have an opinion. Your cowardice is an embarrassment.
I don't take any notice of weak fools like yourself.Say what? You are an embarrassment full stop. Yes we had a different opinion back then to you can you not remember?
You're of no consequence. What? all the best mate
Sorry mate I don't get what you're on about now. Hope all is well with you mate, it's just a bit of banter and healthy disagreement on my end. As I said, all the best. You're of no consequence.
Perhaps I overreacted. You will know that I don't sit on the fence and say what I think at the time...sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. Yates has proved me wrong, he's recovered from a poor start to have an outstanding season.Sorry mate I don't get what you're on about now. Hope all is well with you mate, it's just a bit of banter and healthy disagreement on my end. As I said, all the best.
yes , that penalty was never being kept out - boom !!He's deffo found his shooting boots! 4 in 3! Always confident from the spot as well!
