Remember exactly where I was when I heard the news, in my bedsit in Didsbury having breakfast before going to work at Beehive Mill in Bolton. (GUS).
 
I am more of Rolling Stones fan, but even I can admit Lennon was one of the most talented musicians the world has ever seen.

I also remember it. At home. They played a recent interview with Andy Peebles who'd met him a couple of days earlier.
 
Love how the National trust leave the bedroom light on in his childhood home every year
