Jordan Banks fund

So many tributes on FB etc. I don’t live in Blackpool but the amount of tributes I’ve seen is amazing so word has spread and people are
Donating. Rightly so but it’s good to see from the whole football community.

I know money can’t replace their loss but if it were my child the chances of me functioning, including functioning mentally enough to work, had this happened to one of my babies, would be remote to nil.
Therefore the more money raised that can take away any other pressure the better.

My biggest fear in life something happening to one of my 5 children. Well put lala

My daughter sent me a pic of Orlando, Florida with a tower lit up red and a tribute to Jordan.
It’s really weird how the world has bonded over this. It’s so good to see, but kind of strange that the impact has been so deep and so far reaching.
Three days running I’ve had a cry now. It almost makes no sense, but lots of sense too.

The enormity of this tragedy has touched so many people in the heart.
Think everyone reading about Jordan and what happened and about him and what he’d done will have shed so many tears,
R I P Jordan💕💕💕

What a really nice gesture & I’m sure the players are contributing to the fund, my boy was telling me earlier that Jordan did some charity stuff as well, also being an organ donator , it just gets you more saddened to hear all this, what a star he is

The two fundraisers mentioned on the lightening strikes thread are now jointly over 91,000.
There are also a couple of other fundraisers on the go as well.
This amount for the family in memory of Jordan is truly amazing and shows the generosity of both the Blackpool public and the wider public as well.

I’ll be on the convoy on Sunday 👍

When they build the houses on common edge road car park maybe they should name a road after him ? Or build a playground named after him ?

I visited Common Edge today before the convoy to pay my respects. Very emotional with some beautiful tributes and messages, especially those from classmates and friends.

People must have come from all over for the procession. I had to head out towards the M55 via singleton earlier and saw dozens of wagons, motorcycles and vintage cars that I later saw in the procession.

Fantastic. And as above very emotional. We only get to read of the bad news in the world but really most people are decent. This was very much a fine example of that.
