TEAMtalk understands Championship new boys Blackpool have won the race to sign Everton winger Josh Bowler.

The 22-year-old joined Everton in 2017 when they snapped him up from Queens Park Rangers. Everton paid £1.5m, rising to £4.25m despite the wideman never making a Championship start for the Rs.

Another young, talented player for the training team to develop... good stuff! I've not heard the name before, but given Everton paid over a million for his services, I suspect there's plenty here to be excited about and can't wait to see him in a tangerine shirt!

Didn't do too well for Hull on loan in the Championship, but that was two years ago and with Critchley maybe he'll be better.

IMO I'm past being critical of any of Critch's signings, because if he wants them, he has a plan for them.

In Critchley we trust!
