Not sure they could afford his wages.Kaikai would do well at Morecambe if they sell Mendes Gomes
Kaikai really hurts personally, the first player post Oyston era that really had the potential to get fans off our feet, and on occasion he did. Yes he flattered to deceive and at times was somewhat of a luxury, but let’s not forget some of the crucial goals he scored this season. Thankyou sullayBoth leaving the club
Yep I agree with that. But as said - too inconsistent. Sublime at times but at other times invisible.Kaikai really hurts personally, the first player post Oyston era that really had the potential to get fans off our feet, and on occasion he did. If fit I really really think he is. Strong and clever footballer. Fitness is the question though. I wouldn’t be surprised if he offer is structured around appearances.Madine is not Championship standard.
He's 29 in December so last chance of a big contract. As pre-contracts can be signed months in advance, bearing in mind we were mid-table at the time, I reckon it is one of the lower Championship Northern clubs like Stoke, Huddersfield or if he's been unlucky one of the relegated pair Rotherham or Sheff Wed.Wonder if Turton has gone to one of the upward-looking L1 clubs: Ipswich, Sunderland, Portsmouth maybe? As for Sullay, have an inkling that he might go back to Shrewsbury ...
Bolton would be a good fit for him. He's 29 in December so last chance of a big contract. you can't sign pre contracts with english clubs so if agreed a while ago it'll be Scotland or abroad. He's 29 in December so last chance of a big contract. Hillsy watch him off the ball. He doesn’t chase/close down. In the Championship you need everyone giving everything every game on and off the ball. He flatters to deceive. If fit I really really think he is. Strong and clever footballer. Fitness is the question though. I wouldn’t be surprised if he offer is structured around appearances.
U really don’t think garbutt be pool number one left back next seasonI presume Garrity is to get a fee for him. Be shocked if Husband and Garbutt stay. One will want full game time and I think Husband knows that he won't be playing CB in the Championship.
Disagree. I think he is definitely Chanpionship standard. He’s also the kind of player you need in a dressing room and as an option up top. I’m delighted we have at least tried to keep him, but expect he will see what’s out there before deciding.Madine is not Championship standard.
He’s Premier League standard, you’re rightMadine is not Championship standard.
Least it stops us from arguing over whether he's good enough for this level or not. Great servant but give us a chance to sign younger and better.Gutted about Ollie.
Been our most consistent player, on lowest wage, in several positions.
Presumably offered a poor rise which is below what hes been offered elsewhere?
Good luck Ollie & thanks for your considerable efforts!
Yeah fair enough, all about opinions! I’m hoping we get Simms back and if Madine does stay I suspect he’ll do plenty of hold up play off the bench to release the pressure. I suspect him staying isn’t a foregone conclusion either.Hillsy watch him off the ball. He doesn’t chase/close down. I really hope I’m wrong but I’ve seen enough of him. If you want the entertaining attacking stuff you saw towards the end of the season, he’s not the answer.
We’ll see mate.
Yes I appreciate the opinion bit, hope I’m not being a bit strong.Yeah fair enough, all about opinions! I’m hoping we get Simms back and if Madine does stay I suspect he’ll do plenty of hold up play off the bench to release the pressure. I suspect him staying isn’t a foregone conclusion either.
I thought if they were in the last 6 months they can sign with anyone on a pre contract. Is that not the case?you can't sign pre contracts with english clubs so if agreed a while ago it'll be Scotland or abroad.
Offered a new contract... doesn't mean it on better terms. I'd like him at the club as an option. But he'd have to be the same cost as last seasonMadine is not Championship standard.
