Been away this weekend. Got back home, sorted baggage etc, flicked tv on, Sky Sports Football and “lo and behold”, it’s THE play-off.
How do you define it? A team of “cast-offs”? A team of “misfits”? A team: manager, players and all the background staff that just.....gelled. (Please ignore thoughts of a certain family contributing.)
Maybe one of you knows the data? It’s play-off time. Are we the most prominent performer? We’re always good value (entertainment).
A lousy start to the season. An injury list longer than.... But we’re in the mix. New heroes to be knighted.

I always consider it a perfect storm. It wasn't a miracle IMO, it was a well deserved promotion for a great squad.

As for are we the most prominent performer? We certainly are with 5 play-off final wins, hopefully we'll be celebrating 6 at this time next week!
