Keir gets lobbed out of boozer

Saw that. The landlord looks like he's had a breakdown due to lockdown, couldn't put a coherent argument to him, not Keir's fault. he does have the right to not let him in his pub and not get heavied by a bodyguard though.

🤣🤣🤣hilarious, a pub landlord lobs him out and says he’s barred for being shit🤣🤣🤣
the pub landlord is a lefty, you see even lefties think he’s useless 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍🏻🇬🇧🇬🇧👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
I thought you were off to start your own Board, seeing as though you were laying into this one on another of your threads. If you need a lift I'll happily drive you there.

The moronic landlord said that he disagreed strongly with lockdown.

As Mandy Rice-Davies famously said "well he would, wouldn't he"

He's undoubtedly suffered financially as a result of the lockdown. Interestingly though, the co-owner said his views were entirely his own, and he aplogised to Sir Keir and the Labour Party.

The headline should have said "Nutter confronts politician". Hardly a news-worthy story!

In todays world newsworthy dosn't matter.....it's the Number 1 watched clip on the BBC news website.

Ohh, but Hugh Grant seen in Frome is headline news, whilst Johnson finally gets the message that India might not be a good destination for a trip, gutted, he could have had a real elephant in the room other than the Tory Sleaze one!

Has anyone seen the number 2 most watched clip on the BBC......what an absolute scum bag....he want's to try that with me or my lads......coward.

He's got every right to throw a scumbag pollie out of his pub if he wants. Protecting the elderly HAS caused millions of businesses worldwide to go bust and I'm just as f***ing angry as that guy is!

“Protecting the elderly” vs “businesses going bust”! Rather think that your description of the Leader of the Opposition is more akin to yourself!

Herein lies labour's problem. That pub landlord is representative of what I call old Labour...the type that crumbled the red wall. The fact new woke labour type calls old Labour type a moron and a nutter absolutely explains why Labour are behind in the polls against the most fascist government since Germany in 1933. The fact is the woke left is a minority, it shouts very loudly but its never going to get elected in the next 1000 years. I actually feel sorry for Starmer as he's stuck between the shouty woke rabble and the more traditional Labour and unfortunately at the moment the shouty lot are dictating more than the traditional.

All things are cyclical and hopefully in a few years these shouty mob lefties will disappear and sanity can be restored and then balance to the political landscape. I am a little concerned though that the echo Chambers of social media are preventing this at present and may continue to delay such re balancing

I think Starmer is the type of individual who would make a great Prime Minister.
Unfortunately he probably hasn’t got the charisma and skillset to actually win an election and get that chance.

So whilst Johnson was shagging everything with a skirt and getting sacked for lying(twice), Starmer was successfully prosecuting terrorists.but Starmer's the bad guy.
As for the landlord, I assume he wanted Labour to oppose lockdown?
As opposed to Sadiq Kahn representing them ? When it suits I suppose. Without it all getting a bit OTT the landlord clearly lost the plot and it was great for the waiting media to pounce. As they say timing is everything.

The pub landlord was interviewed on GMB this morning and made a right knob of himself with his views on the pandemic, very cringeworthy and left the panel squirming!

Yeah, I'm not KS biggest fan but it was the most cringeworthy thing I've seen in a long time.

If I was in that position, surely it'd be the opportunity to speak to the man properly rather than shout absolute insane nonsense at him. I just don't get it tbh. Very peculiar and just shows the sad state our country is in.

The pub landlord is not old Labour. He's a landlord in Bath, he's Al Murray made large. Tory through and through. See also Tim Martin.

I’m bemused as to why Starmer went in, surely he must have known it was the guys pub. The landlord has an absolute right under licensing law to refuse entry to anyone, and I’d be surprised if he didn’t report the bouncer for assaulting him in his own pub.

The visit was arranged apparently.

And anyone is entitled to use reasonable force to defend themselves or a third party. Holding back Mr Shouty would not be classified as assault and I doubt the police would welcome having their time wasted.

Oh for John Prescott.

That Prescott punch still makes me laugh. 🥊

What was this?
Straighters it’s still number 3 watched clip on the BBC news clips...a old man was going into Morrison’s and a total coward chose to kick/sweep his legs from under him crashing him to the floor...he then just stepped over him and carried on into the shop....as I said before that will be someone’s dad on the floor....

Just watched it. Awful. I hope they catch the arrogant swaggering bastard.

The Prescott punch was ace, throw an egg at someone, get a left jab back, seems fair enough.

Anyway, why is this a mysterious Bermuda Triangle thread?

Prescott was a legend in my eyes after that punch and I voted for the other side. I wish all politicians were a bit more normal like the rest of us but then of course we see what happens when they are...catch 22
