Keshi

The lad was eager which isn't a bad thing. If he'd have passed the ball on a the occasions he got in the box the end result could have been a little different. He looked sharp and up for it.

Just watched the highlights and he looked very sharp. Was that a true reflection? Positive if it was.

Looked great, always had time and space, plays with his head up, likes to give and go.

Agree about him being a competitor for Kaikai's position coming in off the left. Has a clear understanding with Jerry too.

I would have him in place of Embleton and Kaikai in place of Simms and have them regularly swap roles

Suspect we'll see him starting Sunday, we haven't half got some talented players. What a decision for NC for the playoffs, Kaikai or Keshi? At last we should be able to put out a really talented balanced bench.
Imagine 4-2-3-1 with a midfield three of Embo - Keshi - Kaikai 🤯

We've been missing the ability to change a game off the bench recently due to injuries, even if they don't start it'll be amazing having fresh legs to bring on in players that we know can do the business!

I'm hoping that's a possibility for Sunday, but not sure what's happening with Kaikai.

with all three of them swapping position every 15 minutes or so, teams would have no chance preparing for us especially when they're probably looking at how many times we've changed formation recently and wondering which one we'll go with in the playoffs

Could work wonders having them three linking up.

Think we may be being cautious with his injury, now play-offs are secured let him fully recover for the actual play-off games rather than risk him aggravating it by bringing him in.

If all three of them are on their day it could absolutely devastate teams.

Looks likely now with him not being in the 18 at all last night. Obviously Demi Mitchell could come into it too.

Think there'll be less of a need to include an extra defender at the weekend now, and there's five subs to use whilst keeping some continuity. A chance for Keshi to try and effect a game for longer from his preferred position.

from the first time i saw him pre-season looked quality. still remember the game against liverpool where he ran the full length of the pitch chasing down and then disposessing one of their attackers in our penalty are. Reminds me of GTF.

Did far more in half hour then Embleton in 93.
Ebleton can go back now for me, too inconsistent & gave ball away loads last night.
Keshi & Mitchell far better

He was one of the first players the Manager signed for the club, that should tell you plenty. I would have him
in my first 11.

Stroppers, I don't know if you know this but on iFollow as long as you are registered you can get to watch the full match replay or 10 mins(ish) highlights, if this helps.....

I've never been Keshi's biggest fan but he was playing before Phil had appointed Calderwood and had his meeting with Critch to put him straight on tactics and future signings (only kidding).
So Keshi was playing when the whole team wasn't clicking.
Last night he look fresh and like he had something to prove, which of course he does if he wants his place back.
I'd definitely start him on Sunday along with Stewart and Eky. (but that will be down to Phil 😉)

Possibly, but Anderson 2 goals and 0 assists in 18 appearances against Kaikai 7 goals and 8 assists in 40 appearances!
However...most of Keshi’s appearances came before Critch had found the winning formula and our performances as a team were patchy at best. Keshi will perform much better in this team and with this formation than the one of a few months ago.

Embleton did one good thing last night that nearly resulted in a goal.other than that he was poor in a lot of ways,he’s better than that.

Possibly but still to be proven.

As sad as it is to say this, I wonder if there is also that thing with Embleton of making a name for himself rather than making a name for the team. A few times on Tuesday I thought he was greedy when he could have put through one of our players on goal.
