Keshi

I've watched all four training videos (I know, I should get a life), and Keshi looks a bit out of sorts to me. None of his usual sly banter and subtle, to camera, wind ups at the expense of team mates. Does he know something we don't yet know? Maybe he just finds pre season a bit of a grind and is just getting through it, buckling down. I want that cheeky chancer back before Reading.

Arguably our best player in the first half of the season, Keshi didn't seem the same after coming back from injury aside from one good game in central mid against Brum. Didn't pick up that vibe on the training vid to be honest, but I'm hoping that a good break has done him well and he'll come back as that great player we enjoyed watching last year and be another key player for us.

You can’t judge from those vids really. I thought Virtue looked a world-beater with one of the shots and Connolly looked knackered at the end of the run but these are snapshots and not a real indication unless there day in day out with the players.

Keshi was much better when played out wide. When he moved into central midfield he slowed play down too much!

Hope you're right. He's one of a few players we've got who can make things happen so he needs to hit the ground running, not only for our sake but for his, as that's one of the areas we'll hopefully be looking to strengthen this season.

Keshi is class and showed that before his injury, think he is angling for a move though sadly
Maybe he's angling for an extension on his contract and he's miffed that he's not been offered one yet? We don't know , but in any case, the best way to get a move on your existing contract, or out the door, is to maximise your saleability by playing out of your skin. We need to see his pre injury form before either happens I think.
