Kevin Stewart - fit for the season start?

Haven’t seen him in any of the pre season training videos from last week. Probably tweaked his hamstring on the beach this summer.

The problem as far as I can see is that Stewart has *never* managed a season in his career.

He's 29 in Sept and has started just 89 league games in his entire career. (With 39 sub appearances)

Good grief, talk about sick note, that’s unbelievable.

Have to say, for me, he will always be a ‘luxury’ player and not someone you can build a team around.

Wouldn't matter if he was as he'll be injured again within no time.

The contract extension we gave him might be one of the worst business decisions this board has made.

He's an odd one and at this present moment in time is not really worth it. Players can sometimes boost their rating just by not being in the team and I think he's a perfect example. On the odd time I see him He's ok and nothing more.

For me our best midfielder, however if he’s always in the treatment room he’s as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

He also is tying up a wage that could be used on another midfielder, it’s a make or break season for me, he’s either is a regular who’s fit more often than not but if he’s injured constantly then you get rid, simple as that.

This constantly missing games with injury has gone on far too long.

I can’t see him being deemed fit enough by Appleton standards. He’s going to be given muscle mass targets I would have thought.
