Hi Everyone,

I'm saddened to share the loss of my Dad Kevin Winder.

He passed away unexpectedly, aged 62 on Monday night.

My dad was a proper Seasider and the reason I support the team.

The reason I'm posting this on here was because my Dad has been following the team home and away since the 70s. Then when I was born in 2000, being a season ticket holder with myself.

He told me how he used to knock about with the Farmers crew and we always had people coming up to us at games saying hello.

I just thought I'd share the news and I'd appreciate any stories or memories you can share with me of my old man.

If you find yourself at a pub this evening, make sure to lift a pint up for him 🍻

Sorry to hear about your dad Matt lad, the Mrs was shocked when she found out yesterday afternoon.
We both send our regards to you and your family,
Take care
Colin & Samantha (your ex work colleague)🧡🧡

So sorry for your loss. Although I didn’t know your dad, the father / son story is always deeply moving at times like this. I will raise a glass to your dad, as will my son ❤️

Went in the Farmers but probably 3/4 years earlier so I didn’t recognise him. Sorry for your loss. Far too young. 😔 I will raise a glass tonight when the dog drags us into Drinkwaters.

Very sorry to hear about Kevin. He was in the year after me school. I haven't seen him or his older brother for many years since the family lived in South Shore (off St Annes Rd if I recall correctly?). It was probably in the Farmers I last talked to him.

Very sorry for your loss Matt.

Cheers Dave, yeah just off St Anne's Road on Kimberley, that's right.

Thank you mate!
