Wonder if Leicester will want him out on loan again this season? Did well at Luton last season and so a step up to the Championship clearly didn't phase him.
Maybe ask Valeri if he wants to contribute?Neil Critchley never seems to go in for players we have had before...I dont think we even tried to get KDH last year...would love to break the bank and sign him but it is beyond us Im afraid...
As an aside I Think if the club did an Andy Watson style buy a player fund for the fans then there would be a decent interest and they would raise some serious money (perhaps the club could match what the fans raise and buy a player with it) I am sure the various fan groups would run with this and maybe something for the SLO to bring up at the next meeting.
I do think he is a quality player and if Leicester dont want him then there will be plenty who doOn AVFTT KDH is, apparently, the only player of quality available in the whole footballing world for the last 3 seasons. There are no other footballers good enough.
Agree you’d think VB would have made a grand gesture. He did very well out of the Pool, as did we the fans, but was always a bit disappointed he has never chipped in he always liked the drama off it all I think so why not approach him to enquire if he’d be interested.Maybe ask Valeri if he wants to contribute?
Because the club is now owned by Simon Sadler .Agree you’d think VB would have made a grand gesture. Would the people who think £15 is too much to watch us play a Premier League team in pre-season pay in?As an aside I Think if the club did an Andy Watson style buy a player fund for the fans then there would be a decent interest and they would raise some serious money (perhaps the club could match what the fans raise and buy a player with it) I am sure the various fan groups would run with this and maybe something for the SLO to bring up at the next meeting.
Reading that it is extremely doubtful that Leicester will be letting KD-H out on loan. At 22 he needs to be given a chance in the first team and the Europa League will be the ideal opportunity. I am sure NC has some other loan options in mind to add that bit of extra quality.
There isn’t a bigger club than BlackpoolWouldn't be shocked to see him at a Burnley or a Norwich or something. They'll want him at a bigger club than Blackpool or Luton.
Burnley is not a bigger club than Blackpool and the town is half the size…There isn’t a bigger club than Blackpool
Serious money? 10,000 people paying £15 (if you forget that half our fans wouldn't pay that) each would raise £150,000. You'd need to pay for policing, stewarding and other matchday costs out of that plus a fee to our opponents if you want a team that is a draw of any kind. Even with Simon Sadler doubling it (people on here are always very good at spending Mr. Sadler's money for him) you would raise just about enough for a year's wages for a good championship player.Neil Critchley never seems to go in for players we have had before...I dont think we even tried to get KDH last year...would love to break the bank and sign him but it is beyond us Im afraid...

Dunno haw much we could raise but we do have some wealthy fans and maybe some budding Belekons or indeed the man himself...if we could raise £3-400k and the club match it then we could sign a potential fans favourite even from a lower division with potential and time on their sideSerious money? 10,000 people paying £15 (if you forget that half our fans wouldn't pay that) each would raise £150,000. It's a fine idea if you want a league 1 player but at this level it isn't worth the SLO wasting the board's time.
This is the sort of stuff tin pot strugglers do.Dunno haw much we could raise but we do have some wealthy fans and maybe some budding Belekons or indeed the man himself...if we could raise £3-400k and the club match it then we could sign a potential fans favourite even from a lower division with potential and time on their side
To raise 3-400k we would need to charge £30 or £40 and get 10,000 in (more like £40 to £50 if we cover costs too). If he didn’t form the opinion that he’s shit hot then I’d be disappointed…two games was enough to see that.Signed under Grayson worked with Critch for two games one draw and one defeat before the season got curtailed is that long enough for NC to have an opinion of KDH?
Unless you've been in a coma for the last 10 years. Burnley in footballing terms are miles ahead of us. And are therefore currently a bigger club.Burnley is not a bigger club than Blackpool and the town is half the size…

I was impressed by Connor Ronan too, thought he had a touch of the Hoolahan's about him but unfortunately broke a metatarsal back in May playing for Grasshoppers of Zurich. This was said to him out for 4-5months so unlikely to be available to go out on loan.Rodgers has said he isn't going out on loan this season. Wants to get him playing in the first team. I am curious about where Ronan will end up this year. He's not getting into the Wolve squad so can see him going out on loan again.
I really liked him. I agree on the hint of Wes.I was impressed by Connor Ronan too, thought he had a touch of the Hoolahan's about him but unfortunately broke a metatarsal back in May playing for Grasshoppers of Zurich. The difference is the whole of Burnleigh go on't Turf.Blackpool does have a larger population so he’s not totally thick.
They've been much better run for 8 of those ten years, that doesn't make them a bigger club. Would you say Bournemouth are?Unless you've been in a coma for the last 10 years. Burnley in footballing terms are miles ahead of us. And are therefore currently a bigger club.
I see Wes is now 39 and is going to be playing in League One this season. What a legend!I really liked him. I agree on the hint of Wes.
Because you can't discuss hypothetical future players you've never seen or likely ever heard of.Why are some dwelling on past loans who shone in poor teams?
We are better than that now and we should be looking forward and relying on the Critch factor to unearth fresh talent, which he obviously has the knack for - UTMP
But its it's the catchment area, isn't it? Burnley have fans in Todmorden, Keighley, Barnoldswick as well as Colne, Nelson, Clitheroe and Accrington.Blackpool does have a larger population so he’s not totally thick.
Unfortunately they'll pip us on pretty much every contributing factors to club size. They've won more, bigger stadium, bigger gates, played in the top flight more than us and are still playing in the top flight in the modern eraBurnley is not a bigger club than Blackpool and the town is half the size…
And how many had heard of or knew of KDH before he joined us???? The answer is not manyBecause you can't discuss hypothetical future players you've never seen or likely ever heard of.
Exactly. I'm not arguing with you, I'm just saying the reason people go on about ex players is for summat to talk about. And how many had heard of or knew of KDH before he joined us???? The answer is not many
We're talking about footballing stature here aren't we? Bournemouth are ahead of us. Burnley are a division above us.They've been much better run for 8 of those ten years, that doesn't make them a bigger club. Would you say Bournemouth are?
I thought we were talking about 'bigger' clubs, not sure that's the same as 'stature'. My definition of the size of a club, for what its worth, is the size of its fanbase. The 'stature' of a club is maybe more to do with trophies and league status. We're talking about footballing stature here aren't we? Bournemouth are ahead of us. Burnley are a division above us.
So where would KDH get more progression from? A PL relegation battle? A Championship promotion run or a Championship relegation battle?
I think fans need to drop this "we're bigger" than them bollocks.
Far too sensible a post for here. Burnley are a slightly bigger club than us, not by much though.Unfortunately they'll pip us on pretty much every contributing factors to club size. We're talking about a footballer, the size of a fanbase means absolutely nothing.I thought we were talking about 'bigger' clubs, not sure that's the same as 'stature'. It does if it relates to the size of club and hence it’s spending power. We're talking about a footballer, the size of a fanbase means absolutely nothing.
Bournemouth have far less a fan base than us but can spend more? So it doesn't make a load of difference really. It does if it relates to the size of club and hence it’s spending power.
