Kneecap and 2 tier justice

Call me old fashioned but nobody should be going to jail for saying things, whether that be on a stage or online.

Don’t care if it’s something I agree with or not, now planning some kind of violent attack, that would be different, I thought we had this stuff figured out decades ago - the internet has made people insane.

Seriously? You’re replying to a post I made on 29th April?!!!!

Classic!!!!
You know dam well which post I’m referring to so stop worming out of it something you seem very good at.

There’s only one clown around right now and yet you question my intelligence.

Love it keep it up.

Love it.
Go on then.

Point me to a recent post I’ve made about politics.

You replied to a post I made literally months ago.

Buffoon.

Edit to add.

Go on. Admit it. You confused me with Voyeur.

😂 Apologise or be condemned as a complete and utter bell cheese.

That’ll be the same Charlie Mullins who now wants to stand as a Reform Councillor.
So are you saying now it’s mandatory for me to reply to every post on here? Christ that would take some doing.

You need to get out more seriously.

20’s has you sussed in fact a few on here do these days one trick pony comes to mind.

😂

But you did reply to the original posts at the time you silly old fool. 😂

It’s you who decided to pick a fight over a post that was more than three months old. And are now trying to pretend you didn’t.

Anyway, well done for bringing me out of my self imposed retirement.

Are you prepared to condemn Charlie Mullins for his incitement to kill Sir Khan?

The right are very keen on unfettered free speech; just look at the amount of times the Blessed Nige complains about being cancelled (despite being having the most appearances on QT).

However, when its free speech that they don't like, they suddenly become a massive of snowflakes (a drift?).

Free speech, as long as its our message.

you keep wanting to push Jaffa into a reply but don't seem to want to address the point about Kneecap in post one! Why? Perish the thought i should think you back their words.

Mullins is an idiot, hope they're only rinsing him for his cash. Remember his vaccine shite. Wasn't he a leftie or remainer when he said it. Doesn't seem to know what he believes.

People on the right believe in free speech but are sick of the left using underhand tactics to get them shut down.

Believing in free speech you can I suppose take the higher ground, however many probably think if its ok for one...it's only fair they get a taste of the world they've created.

Anyone calling for that sort of thing is an idiot IMO.

So people should sit by whilst many on the right have got harsh treatment and other cases are kicked into the long grass.

This is what happens when you start censoring etc, it's a slippery slope and other side feel aggrieved.

oh come on, you know there is no such thing as free speech. That's the reality. Example? AVFTT and posts being removed by the left wing moderators so your comment is rather ironic..

Because you’ve avoided commenting on the nasty piece of work mentioned in post 3 on this thread.

And still are.
However for me, as you'll note though, I did reply about that completely random weird post you tried to label as 'one of yours'.

A typical terrible post it was.

Left wing moderators? Get a grip in your paranoid right wing world.

Those on the right get harsh treatment. Like the Just Stop Oil protectors or Extinction Rebellion members jailed.

Throw away the key was the mildest comment from our resident right whingers.

of course there are, you're just to blind to see it. You lefty namby pambies love nothing more than reporting a post and getting it deleted. Ask yourself why Jaffa, Phil and was it Lost got banned? Any lefty been banned at all. I doubt it. Open your eyes.

I think it's proven.

You mean people actually blocking motorways, causing major disruption, people not able to get to hospitals etc.

Weird thing to defend. Can imagine you defending it if let's say a Tommy Robinson event did the same im sure.

You'd be screaming.

Funny you should mention major disruption. There’s been major disruption between Newport Pagnell and junction 14 of the M1 for getting on for two years now. With no end in sight. Blocked roads, people not able to get to work, hospitals etc. Millions inconvenienced.

Not a problem though when property developers stand to earn tens of millions of pounds in profits.

Me seaside 2020 no 9 too, maybe more.

However we're back now and not sure if its changed with moderation on here, was there not 2 newer non BFC people selected.

Can only say I haven't had any issues yet.

Tbh the world's changed and the overton window has massively shifted, what the left once got away with labelling people for is now common discourse and the tactics of labelling is losing power.

Me and others have been proven right on many things weve said, ahead of the curve, reality has now come into line with us and left others having to rapidly adjust.

That can be seen from some posters on here. 😂

Not aware of that issue, but its not protectors glueing themselves to the road is it?

Maybe you're right though lock them up...

It’s just odd.

Cause disruption to save the planet = bad.

Cause disruption to make shareholders loads of profits = very good.

They're doom mongers who say we're going to boil in our own sweat, yeah really. In reality there might be some slightly meaningful sea level rise in about 75 years.

Anyone can be a bit mad and claim it's for some noble crusade. Many of them are called posh names and look a bit crazy in the eyes.

I'm not defending it, I'm saying people of all persuasions are jailed for all kinds of reasons.

I've never ever contacted a mod over anything.

You doubt it. So speculation then?

but what is not speculation is that a good few right wing posters have been banned. It's not speculation it's a fact. Now why do you think that is?

And i believe your first line.

Because they've broken the board rules we all sign up to?

Just a thought.

yep, it's a thought. Funny how it;s just seems to be right wingers who break the rules though. Whether you like it or not there is clearly a left wing bias with the moderation on here. Any left winger want to come forward and say they've been banned previously? I don't expect a rush.

Here's a thought. Maybe its the intolerant right wing viewpoint that makes them push it just too far, whereas the tolerant left are more self aware.

😉

yep, you may have a point. Just how long are you gonna be tolerant of Keir Starmers u-turns on all the policies you were backing?

Incitement to violence?

Depends on the reasons for making them.

If it makes it better, what's the problem?

That's the trouble with you right whingers. Carry on even when its obviously wrong and claim its all good. I'll leave you to choose an example...

Brexit.

Intransigence isn't a good thing.

Incitement to violence?
Free speech is inherently a bit messy. I personally find the Lucy Connelly post to be disgusting and misguided however the qualifier “for all I care” is important.

She isn’t planning or organising or implying that she will be committing violence so however much I may disagree with her, I think jail is going too far.

We live in a time where foreign governments and huge corporations spend billions on inciting groups to perspectives which could be damaging to society, prosecutors/intelligence agencies should focus their energy here, not on the poor saps who get caught up in the swell.

Do you think foreign governments were behind this guys disgusting comments?

The Glastonbury performers?.

It’s a completely different scenario, you cant kill thousands of civilians without expecting some cultural blowback, just like effigies of George W Bush being burned during the Iraq war.

I’d be almost certain that during Glastonbury 2003-4 there was quite a bit of anti American sentiment.

These were performers on a stage, whilst “death to the IDF” isn’t personally nuanced enough of a statement for me to find appropriate or interesting, I’ve got to defend an artists right to express themselves. I’d be fine with people choosing to boycott these artists and even privately owned venues refusing to put them on if they disagree, but again - prosecution is going too far imo.

The line to me is clear, if they did indeed incite people to chant “death to the [insert racial/religious group here]” as some media suggested, then it would be a different conversation.

But they did incite people, many chanted the same thing. As others have said, those immediately arrested after the summer riots were arrested for inciting violence. I don’t see the difference.

I think a group of primarily middle class students in a field in England are unlikely to pose much of a threat against one of the most sophisticated and well funded militaries on earth.

I also think they’re intelligent enough to determine the difference between the IDF and the British Jewish community.
