Kneecap and 2 tier justice

for touring America. If so, stops them spreading their hatred to another country. Might upset a few supporters of them on here though.
Has there been a lot of support on here for them?
Unlike a lot of you i had actually heard of these two before this weekend and if I'm in that sort of mood their song 'We Live Here' is a good one as are a couple of others.
But i can't support anyone chanting death to the IDF or death to Hamas or death to any body of people!
Strangest thing about all this for me is people appearing to be more outraged by a musician getting carried away in the moment than they are by actual deaths in the Middle East!

They're doom mongers who say we're going to boil in our own sweat, yeah really. In reality there might be some slightly meaningful sea level rise in about 75 years.

Anyone can be a bit mad and claim it's for some noble crusade. Many of them are called posh names and look a bit crazy in the eyes.
Posh name and crazy eyes, sounds like your glorious leader!
The man who runs his political party as a private company that gets a significant amount of funding from fossil fuel companies.
Not surprising that he has no interest in green technolgy or looking after the planet.

Same as Kneecap, all this attention won't do them any harm, they'll burn brightly for a short spell then disappear.
Not like either of them are going to do a Rod Stewart and play the Pyramid Stage at 80 years of age, now that really was a crime against humanity!

Rod was OK, his backing dancers, singers and musicians on the other hand were fantastic 👏

Bob Vylan might well be questioning whether Saturday was worth it after the US visa revocation and now being dropped by their agent.

They'll certainly have gained a shit load of new fans and will probably lead to a big money spinner touring the UK again. I'll certainly be there, musically I thought they were great.

You're just a living, breathing Daily Mail headline, aren't you ?

Next time I see a newspaper headline claim " a furious row erupted last night" I'll have this vision of you, whipping yourself into a masturbatory frenzy about absolutely bugger all.

All this they said this, they said that, my views are right yours are wrong is just boring and pathetic, the few of you on both sides need to get a grip, you’re like children.

At the end of the day Kneecap and Bob Vylan are just stupid litlle pop stars who think that anyone gives a stuff what they think, it’s all about the press coverage and increase in streams. I hope the Police go get them and prosecute the hell out of them, same as they have with that Tory Councillors wife and all the others who can’t stop themselves inciting violence and hatred in the public domain. It’s a criminal offence, end of. People need to take responsibility for what they say. Why can’t these 2 bands just play their music and enjoy the privilege that they have instead of being utter bell ends.

I’m shocked of Bendit as an ex copper, bored to death of JJ and his never ending one sided social media and news posts and Wiz and Mex, both of whom I know and class as friends, they are like the left wing opposite and there’s a few others on both sides too.

It’s the total avoidance of any balance.

Well said !

You’ll never get any balance from them Voy, don’t you get bored of reading the same old bollocks from both side?
I do. But I find this rise of populism really depressing. I see no politicians with the answers, they don't have any. But what we don't need is this reactionary dumbing down and simplification of everything. As if Farage and his ilk are the way forward . God help us all, really. I'm in my 60s, I can go out quietly , but my kids in their 20s despair too, and that saddens me.

And the mass hysteria is bloody everywhere , it seems, and currently focussed on Starmer. I'm very disappointed with Starmer myself, but the constant barrage of hatred is ridiculous, and brain dead, like a massive bullying exercise with no attempt at reason, bonehead logic, and so little thought or consideration going on. It seems like people just parrot stuff and echo it around in a state of anger. And I've ended up angry myself and fed up with it all. How do we switch it off? Can we go back to normal please?!

Reading the moronic stuff posted day in day out by Bendit, Jaffa etc and seeing it reflected all over the place on the internet and printed media and in the streets too, just leaves me in despair tbh. Stop the bus, I'll get off here and walk! Thanks.

That's the same 20s who has consistently called the deaths of 70,000 as 'unfortunate collateral damage of war' at best, when not trying to claim they brought it on themselves by supporting Hamas.

Maybe should have said middle class hippie names. But the crazy eyes and attitude are there.

Puts starting a lame chant which relatively few people joined in with into context. Very sad, not sure that babies and the under 14s have very much interest in politics in any country, it's disgusting that so many have died not unfortunate.

why, do you support Hamas? Seems like you do? Some people claim they are not anti semitic too! Let's face it is there one post from you criticising Kneecap or this Bob Vylian? Why is that then? You seem to have so much to say about everything. You do like to twist things too. And i deal in facts. The majority of Gazans backed Hamas. You might not like that but it's a fact. Another fact is i said only yesterday that Israel have crossed the line more than they should have. Yes, just yesterday. Now tell me when your last criticism of Hamas was?

Unfortunately European and British governments have been far too soft in allowing Islam to rise across Europe.

Multiculturalism doesn’t work, there is no chance of the harmony you want, they have ucked it up.

Instead of locking up people chanting on stage or putting offensive posts up on social media lock up the political elite instead.

Multiculturalism doesn’t work, there is no chance of the harmony you want…
Why doesn’t multiculturalism work?
Let’s think about something simple but fundamental, like food. Shall we list all the restaurants and takeaways on our High Streets?

Curries: Bangladeshi (Muslim) and Indian (Hindu)
Oriental: Chinese, Thai, Vietnam, Indonesia
Sushi: Japan
Pizza and pasta: Italy
Tacos and burritos: Mexico
Kebabs: Turkey and Greece
Burgers and hotdogs: America
and last but not least…
Fish and chips: British.

And wine tends not to come in quantity from England yet. That’s all quite multicultural and harmonious to me.
Or shall we shut down all but the Chippies and immediately regress to the 1950’s?

That post pretty much proves Voys point.

I live in Old Trafford, which is about as multicultural as it gets. And it does work here. It works well. It's a peaceful area with lots of variety and no hassle. It doesn't work in areas where there's white resentment, I suspect. How do we tackle that? White mobs attacking hostels containing terrified brown people, for example? How do we eradicate that behaviour, realistically?

Where have I ever said I support Hamas?

I've made it clear throughout that both sides are completely psychopathic.

You keep kidding yourself that the majority of Gazans are keen on Hamas. They don't have any other choice.

Getting killed because you're queueing up for food, which hundreds are daily, isn't a political choice.

You might think they've asked for it. I don't.

when you twist my words and take them out of context then i will do the same with yours. If you'd digested what i said properly in the post to which you replied, i was quite clear in saying that Israel have crossed the line more than they should have. Yet you want to translate that as i'm saying "they've asked for it" when queueing up for food. Wow, that's some leap.

And you love to throw stats about the war at me. Well those same stats do show that the majority support Hamas. You say they don't have a choice. If so, why don't Hamas have 100% in their polls then?

Of course multicultaralism should work but once again there's no balance to your post. You talk of white resentment, white mobs attacking hostels and maybe that's worth mentioning. All valid points. But where's the balance in your post. What about the Asian grooming gangs of young white girls/children that's been happening for decades. Think it perfectly reasonable that there's resentment to that as well from communities of both white and Asian people. It's not the one way street that your post wants to imply.

Yes that's fair, there are some problems that immigration has brought into the country, which needs handling a lot better than they have been. But we are talking about small numbers of criminals who are used to fuel a mass, orchestrated anger that's directed at the whole issue of migration, by right wing groups and right wing media. These criminals need handling much better than they have been.

Migration is a fact of life, there has always been migration. We need immigration. It's really difficult to have a proper debate, when such a mob attitude persists, about what immigration policy should look like, and what is actually achievable. I really dislike the mentality of people who get so angry and direct that anger at all immigration. The lack of balance is coming from the right. Focusing on specific issues like grooming and using them to demand much broader policy changes. Without considering all the implications. Or what is actually possible.

In fact public debate seems to be dominated by this mentality, which is not conducive to solving problems. My problem with Starmer is that he panics and allows himself to be intimidated by the noise and the pressure of those people, instead of standing firm and describing a better approach. Just ignore the angry mob. Only listen to people who talk and behave in a reasonable manner.

One idea might be to stop Islam growing and growing in this country.

You seriously can’t tell me Islam is great for the UK or Europe.

It’s a political/religious movement and should be banned, it’s insane.
