Glos 13-3, in effect nearing the end of Day 3. A couple more tonight, even 1 and Lancs should win. Even if they don't get those, they are still in with a good shout.

C'mon Lancs

Just scrolled looking for a thread as you started one.

Compelling listening . . . need a couple more tonight.

A draw in the Surrey game would be good too.

Leaders Hampshire lost. Ha ha ha.

Surrey will win I fear, but we could be up to 2nd and still in there.

Not so sure that Surrey will win. They have to take 10 wickets on a good pitch. Lanky have a 50/50 chance of winning, but they will have to take their chances.

Yep maybe Surrey will win but Kent have made a decent start in their second innings. Lancs need to have them 7 down at lunch to win I think.

Lanky were very unlucky in the penultimate over today.
I was surprised when Tom Bailey was given the ball for the 41st over, because he bowled off spin with a 3 step run up. He almost got a wicket though. The batsman edged it but it went wide of first slip and went for 4, then the next delivery was missed by everyone for 4 byes. Wells also was unlucky not to take a wicket in the last over.

I really hoped we could have them 4 down, as I think the rain will have a big say tomorrow. Hope we don't get done by the weather yet again.

Yeah, was hoping for more tonight, First hour will be massive.

A win and we're up there. Have we played Surrey yet? I think not, so that's a winner takes all.

edit

No. Play them only once last game of the season.

Yep it sounds like there's definitely rain around tomorrow.

Need early wickets.

Anyone know why Luke Wood has not yet bowled in the 2nd innings?
It was mentioned on commentary but no real answer.

We were behind on the over rate so they wanted to play the spinners and also I think the light was fading.

He was also quite expensive in the first innings so maybe trying to keep it tight.

I'd expect he'll play a part tomorrow unless he's carrying an injury?

Bohannon off the field all day . . clearly got a knock first innings.

Yep last game of the season at home.

Maybe we'll have Livi and Buttler back by then :)

They reckon Washington Sundar will play in the next CC game. 👍

Lanky have to have them all out by about 3pm. That would have used up about 46o. And added about another c.135 runs. That would leave 48o to be bowled to score c.200. Anything the wrong side of that equation hikes the scoring rate up. If given the chance, they will throw 6/7 wkts at a higher rate run chase.
