I'm going to say best was probably Jay Alnwick and whilst I know most will say Nuttall as his worst I'm going for Sean Scannell - truly awful.
Tough one. Husband is under rated and I prefer maxwell so far to Alnwick.
I would stick with husband.
Again for worst, it's difficult as I honestly don't think the signings have had chance to shine. Nuttall is obvious but until he gets a run with decent service I wouldn't label him, same with scannell - how many games had he had in a run?
Preferring Maxwell to Alnwick ? Id love to know the rationale behind that opinion.
Hopefully at some point he will get a proper run in the team and bang in a few goals. Personally think we should have sent him out on loan for the rest of the season to build his confidence up.Have to say Husband is the best signing he made and I was glad it was made permanant.
Worst I have to say Nuttall at the mo. I do agree he hasn't really had a good enough run. My Blackburn mate saw a fair bit of him and said with a good run in the team he will flourish. He hasn't had a good run and Grayson's style probably didn't suit him.
Which one is whichI don't think you can include loans in this to be honest and if we're only talking permanent signings then it has to be Husband and Nuttall.
Yeah think you could be right there mateHopefully at some point he will get a proper run in the team and bang in a few goals. Personally think we should have sent him out on loan for the rest of the season to build his confidence up.
For a start I wasn't blown away by Alnwick like everyone else. Also he didn't seem to communicate greatly with his defence too much. Maxwell seems more assertive on coming for crosses.
Also, I'm not saying both would be my choice but if I had to pick one it would be maxwell. One of maxwell problems is he is on loan from Preston, and for the childish amongst us that means he is disliked.
Honestly dont agree with any of that. For a start Maxwell isnt on loan ,he signed a short term deal.
Alnwick far superior IMO, Stats will back that up i imagine. No surprise our form has dipped dramatically since Jak's injury.
