The planet of supporting the team and giving the new manager time and believing that he is a good manager, we have some decent players and some limited ones, which we've had to rely on heavily for now. Many of whom have low confidence and belief, which he's trying to improve.
I believe he'll build us a good team eventually, just got to get through this period and if we can get the odd win here and there in between that helps. There's no way evatt will be signing poor footballers and long term it'll l be meticulously planned to build a great team.

For this season, right now, yes we stay up. Then we try and build a team by adding more proper footballers and then let Evatt work on getting them to play fearless attacking football.
Because yes, he wants to dominate possession, but be brave and take risks, not just keep it, what let us down in that domination is the final bits and finishing, with our better players back who create and score goals that can change that and adding to that in summer can change that too. If we're then dominating and taking chances that's a big difference and what a team like Cardiff does. Might not work every game as we showed by beating them, but look at where they are, it works a lot.

I meant Sadler and Winter by the top. Time people started fully questioning his god awful decision making the past few years, yes he invested a bit this season but if he didn't make awful managerial appointments and spent a few years ago wed still be a championship club.

There's no doubt that successive managerial decisions have led to this, building teams for the wrong managers, some that were kind of obviously not right.
Can't fault SS for his investment but we haven't always used it wisely, because we haven't had this long term vision, well we may have but its been the wrong vision and not building to a consistent plan.
I think thats now changed with Evatt, who will build that and anyone we get after him should work to a similar modern football plan. He will build, in time, a successful modern footballing team with good footballers, positive possession football, risk taking, forward passes and creating chances etc.
It's a hard time for him to come in as he had half a squad and missing more creative players and trying to turn round what we had, players with no confidence and with issues, all without a single player of his own amd no pre season games to gel people.
I'm confident he'll get us going in time.
As a Bolton fan what you’ll find with Evatt is he has streaky runs so he’ll lose a few on a run badly then he’ll win five in a run. You have to remember it’s not his team he’s asking them to play a way that they aren’t comfortable with. Watch him rip your team up in Jan and bring in players who can play his style

He would probably like that but ultimately we would need to offload before we brought in I imagine so possibly a job in the summer.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he went in for Ricardo Santos as he doesn’t seem to be getting much of a look in at Swansea.
