Exeter anyone. 🤔

True, that was slightly different circumstances as the majority of us knew we couldn't attend, whereas a global pandemic is stopping them attending. Still hurt regardless of our stance, I watched the highlights for the first time due to a thread on here a few months ago and it boiled my blood seeing all the Blackpool "fans" behind the goal celebrating Potts scoring.

Our next Wembley trip will feel all the more sweeter (especially if we win) the next time around. A united fan base after years of turmoil.

Although only got to.see the second half thoroughly entertained.
Oxford miles the better footballing side Wycombe, well they're Wycombe aren't they.
Probably as much chance in the championship as a Swan vesta match in a force 10 gale!!
Dont think NC will be best pleased to have Oxford as challengers next season either, still, at least the fat scouser got his pay rise, wonder how the Oxford chairman feels now🤣

Good advert for Lg 1 I thought. Congratulations to Wycombe but staying up next season would require you spending loads of dosh.

Don't want a Wembley trip thanks automatic will do I was still at school last time that happened. 😁

Wycombe were very lucky to get into the playoffs. If points had been weighted for home and away games played, they wouldn’t have got in, as they had played 2 more home than away games and their away record was poor for a promotion challenger. That said, they went on to make the best of their good fortune.

Of course, when we've had so many with so many wins, missing the odd one isn't the end of the world. Leeds, on the other hand...😉
Nice one-touche. Sorry I missed it but its a struggle trying to post with this block the admin is putting on my posts. Its taking five minutes to reply at times (rolls eyes)

Less than Accrington Stanley? Doubt it.
I doubted it too, but the commentator repeated it at the end of the game, and when they interviewed the manager he said he only had 9 players days before the season started because of their financial situation.
I think someone bought the club a few weeks later though, and might have given him a transfer budget.

Well done Wycombe and to Bill Turnbull I hope he enjoyed his night at Wembley. Wycombe reminded me of us when we were favourites to get relegated from the Championship and we got promoted via the same play off route.

Well I'm pleased for them even though Ainsworth's a Nobber think he comes over well. I see Sunderland fans claiming its not fair and that Wycombe finished eighth and got promoted🤣

You can't help but think that if the season had proceeded as normal back in March, Wycombe wouldn't have gone up. They were on a shocking run at the time.

Most teams have a poor run a some stage. We will never know if they would have come out of the slump.
