Lennon gone

18 points behind the only other decent side in their league, the biggest surprise is it has taken this long for him to be on his way. Fair enough he has won quite a lot during his 2nd spell but that is mostly because he's been the jockey in a one horse race for the last umpteen seasons.
 
Think there was a bit of a stalemate where Lennon was waiting for them to sack him for the pay-out and the board were waiting for him to resign in order to not pay-out.

Rangers are most likely going to win the league mathematically at Celtic Park, they need 7 points out of their next 3 - the third being Celtic away.
 
His last stroke of genius was bitching about the reaction to their jolly in Dubai. What an unpleasant individual. He'll probably get a job managing in the prem ๐Ÿคจ
 
Yes, I thought he was doing a great job too.

Not a fan but I wouldn't say coward on this occasion as he was sacked after agreeing to resign with a settlement.

I don't think for a second that he was keen to avoid Rangers - the 54 times Champions of Scotland - winning the league for the 55th time at Parkhead and I think he would actually relish the challenge of a game like that.

He must be growing on me as I am also happy that he has not jumped on the sectarian bandwagon with his pals Shane Duffy and that delightful, young, innocent, history teacher James McLean.

Although after clearly calling rival supporters at Ibrox and Dens Park, "Orange b@stards", he might give it a minute before going down that route.

The league flag is coming home.

Yeah, I was thinking of the literal interpretation of the word but that could be described as cowardly as well as a lot of other worse things.

Surely people are entitled to dislike somebody without considering their religion ?

Maybe those jumping on the sectarian bandwagon should perhaps consider why Michelle doesn't like Neil Lennon ?

I will bet that his religion has nothing to do with it ?

Not specifically relating to Lennon, but it's the over riding theme with the Old Firm.

I am never going to say that there is no sectarian abuse between Rangers and Celtic supporters.

This thread was about Neil Lennon and his departure from Celtic.

I think Neil Lennon is a tw@t and that's because he is a tw@t and not because he was baptised a catholic.

Nobody else on the thread has referred to his religion and that's why I thought it was a just little bit unfair of you to mention sectarianism but no big problem and apologies if my original response was OTT.
