"Let the bodies pile high"

The words of our lazy, incompetent, corrupt, criminally negligent Prime Minister.
In the two weeks since the admin joined up with the abusive right wing protagonists by banning me from the site: (they even used the exact language of the hate filled in their one line explanation for the ban) what has been happening that is worthy of comment.
Let's start with Brexit.
Blood tests now have to be rationed meaning people will die because life threatening conditions will not be picked up.
The flu vaccine is being delayed-again risking the lives of vulnerable patients.
Our drinking water is about to become unsafe to drink because the government is reducing the standards required to treat water before it is allowed to enter the supply.
The Conservatives persecute the most vulnerable in society.
Taxing the poor to protect the rich- an unbelievably unfair tax hike on National Insurance meaning that many of the lowest paid workers in society will be taxed at a higher percentage than the high earners. And all of this to protect the inheritances of the wealthy, in order to pass on the money to profiteering private companies owned by Tory donors. Never has a wealth tax and National Care Service been more needed. To be fair the opposition has been pretty pathetic in its criticism (Father Ted's protest against The Passion of St Tibulus comes to mind)
Taking £20 a week from universal credit payments leaving the poorest choosing between feeding the family or sending them to school.
Wanting Migrants to die with an inhumane, illegal policy, which is like so much of this corrupt government's policy is done to appease the xenophobic far right of the nation. Breaking International Law again, no problem, women and children drowning in the Channel, who cares!
And then the blatant racism being openly expressed on this forum.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ILLEGAL ASYLUM SEEKER. To deliberately say that there is when the law has been pointed out time and time again is hate speech inspired by racism.
The insinuation that all asylum seekers are rapists and a threat to women is another racist trope has been particularly disgusting to see, no surprise who the posters pushing this line are but they continue to be allowed to spread their racist attitudes with seeming impunity. Why I should be surprised when we have a prime minister Boris Johnson with a history of racist comments.

Could this be classed as hate speech?

Estonia's PM has been praising Brexit this week saying Estonia has benefited massively from it with lots of British Tech companies moving there.

So if you see Brexit as Britain's way of distributing some of it's own wealth to help other countries, then it starts to make a bit more sense. However, I don't think that was the intention of those who brought it about.

And everytime the Conservatives put forward inhumane attacks on the poor and vulnerable I will find time to make a comment.
I had my annual Prevent training this week. It was almost exclusively about the far right. If you look at the migrants at the Metropole thread there were at least 6-8 posters that would warrant a referral for going against even the Tories so called "British Values" The moderators would be far better advised to reflect on that, than listening to the right wing snowflakes that believe that pointing out the corruption of Boris Johnson constitutes hate speech on here.

I can’t be bothered to go through all your insane ramblings where a lot are not true.

For example you keep saying the PM is ‘criminally negligent’

Please could you post the details of his conviction in this thread?

You see, you are just as bad as the far right side of politics - you have zero balance and will never see the other sides argument.

So what’s the point of engaging with you??

Under whose authority is your Prevent training administered?

Maybe you should give that up and instead just sit back and enjoy your new tax rises, wiped out fishing industry, weakened finincial service industry, permanently reduced product lines, food shortages, broken supply chains, lack of staff all across the economy, inflation, conflict in Ireland, massively increased illegal immigration etc.

It's actually benefiting people, just not those who thought they would benefit 😁

I think the very few that are benefitting, able to hide their riches away in offshore tax havens, while bribing the Conservative party with donations for rip off contracts, knew exactly how they would benefit from backing the corrupt Boris Johnson and his sycophants.

Is it fuck. Regardless of the ranty preachy parts of the post, like it or not, some of it is factual.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the term ‘some’, most of it is a rant based on the persons opinion against the Tories NOT fact.

Therefore by definition it is a hate speech as it slags off and targets a select part of society which is not fully based on facts 👍

He is saying the Tories are responsible for killing people.

I checked a few definitions before I posted and the definition of hate speech is met IMHO.
He’s also inciting hatred... let the bodies pile high..

What type of incidents can be a hate incident?

Hate incidents can take many forms. Here are examples of hate incidents:

  • verbal abuse like name-calling and offensive jokes
  • harassment
  • bullying or intimidation by children, adults, neighbours or strangers
  • physical attacks such as hitting, punching, pushing, spitting
  • threats of violence
  • hoax calls, abusive phone or text messages, hate mail
  • online abuse for example on Facebook or Twitter
  • displaying or circulating discriminatory literature or posters
  • harm or damage to things such as your home, pet, vehicle
  • graffiti
  • arson
  • throwing rubbish into a garden
  • malicious complaints for example over parking, smells or noise.

I would imagine that Cat resides in St Albans and seasideone resides in Singapore.

I am afraid I couldn't help you with the dietary habits of either.

I would say the definition of hate speech is at best fluid and changes by country - which makes it hard to define for the internet.

You talk about hate incidents where as I am talking about hate speech.

Cat basically rants on, talks about bodies pilling up and then targets a group to spout stuff at which is an opinion not fact.

The fact the post is absolutely targeted at a group and talks about deaths, which is not based on facts makes it a hate speech.

It’s an interesting debate, but the bottom line here is that Cat is so far left, he is as bad as the far right…..as both presume they are totally correct and will never listen to anyone else.

Exactly... Cat has accused the PM of killing people... yet there is no evidence to substantiate his claim... purely an opinion .

He was quoting what was reported in the press re: Johnson saying let the bodies pile high. Is that hate speech from the PM? Clutching doesn't even cover it.

Extremists of any hue are by definition unbalanced, they only see one side of any argument .I`m afraid Cat is demonstrably unbalanced and so certainly not the kind that should be teaching our children. His extreme views could be as damaging to our children in their way as are those of Abu Hamza to those who are unfortunate enough to be brainwashed by him. Extremists of any sort are dangerous ,those with the opportunity to influence the immature minds and unformed opinions of our young are doubly so.

Do educational authorities attempt to weed unbalanced extremists out? If not they certainly should be doing.

Plenty have being sued for libel and lost and had to pay up because there was no evidence to substantiate their claim.
