Lets face it..

It looks like we've overly over hauled the squad from last season. I'm sure any Blackpool fan would take at least five players from last season's best starting 11 over what we currently have. I know we all got excited seeing so many players come through the door with just as many leaving... football supporters do! That's mainly because we trusted the manager and where he came from. Did we offer Gnando a much improved offer? The stats say Feeney looked a world beater in terms of suppling goal opportunities. We should know what the template for success looks like by now even under a new regime. Keep your best players (within reason) and add as much proven quality as possible season by season. Thats the way to build.

I'm not giving up on this current set up just yet. As I said earlier this evening, the manager needs to set up 442 now and hit on the break with CJ in the middle and two wing backs with pace. A more rigid structure is what we need right now.

Look back to this time last season, we was sitting in the top 6. Even in December we was 4th before the Christmas period.

A lot of players in that team would comfortably walk into this side, Alnick, Edwards, Heneghan, Spearing, Feeney, Gnaduliet was a fairly decent spine that only needed a hand full of players adding not a squad overhaul which has obviously done no favours !

Agree with both of the above - looked like we were way too keen to throw the baby out with the bath water.

I keep referring back to the Tranmere game, which whilst entertaining, I thought showed up massive holes in Critchley's knowledge of winning a League One match.
