Really, wow never knew that, pure coincidence. I was just curious to know who it was. Hope we go one better tomorrow and get a 6th and break the recordI think you know the answer to that Toon!

I remember waking up on match days in the late 70s...Decisions i had to make....Where my highly polished Doc Martins highly polished enough and the yellow laces gleaming....which straight leg jeans to wear....Had my Mum cleaned my "arrington" jacket and where are my braces and a quick rendition of " we had joy we had fun we had @ on the run" .... those were the days.Bloody hell, the nerves this morning..
COME. ON. YOU. MIGHTY. TANGERINE. WIZARDS!
I think having a few steady players in the squad will help with nerves. Whether they play or not the likes of Garbutt, Turts, Ballard and Ward will help us stay focussedThere aren't any easy games. Gillingham was maybe the easiest, and it was supposed to be the hardest. Wimbledon was meant to be easy. And things can change so quickly. Red cards, penalties, missed chances, and the confidence can suddenly evaporate, and panic can set it. At this stage of a season. We are brimming with confidence and hopefully it will continue like 2007 but you just have to focus on the here and now and not get carried away. Just be steely and focused. And as relaxed as possible. Mefinks.
For sure. And Dougall I'd say. And loan players are less invested cos they probably won't be here after this season. So Embleton and Gabriel too. And Critch doesn't look at league tables and doesn't look ahead. They'll all want to achieve promotion for the thrill but their futures don't depend upon it.I think having a few steady players in the squad will help with nerves. Whether they play or not the likes of Garbutt, Turts, Ballard and Ward will help us stay focussed
It's all set up for us to massacre Lincoln.
Which is why it'll probably be a 1-0 defeat! Increasingly desperate attacking but no composure. It's a funny old game.
Football is weird. End of season games are weird. Our lads are now expected to win, and reach the play offs. Lincoln are being written off. Danger signs! I'm worried. Count your chickens when you can see them and eat them.
Name change required. Half_grumpy_half_giddy ?I feel the same. Games we are expected to win are the hardest ones.
I've convinced myself that we'll slip on this banana skin so it won't be too much of a shock if we do. BUT, if we draw, that's a positive and I'll be pleased. If we win, I'll be "OTM" and very giddy. Sometimes being a "glass half empty" is a sane policy.
