37 - Simms lashes home into the far corner after the Imps had failed to clear their lines near their own box. Emphatic finish from the Everton loanee, who has been excellent so far.

GOAL BLACKPOOL!!! Ellis Simms (0-1)

Tough gig for Scrafters today, him being an Imps fan 🤫

Nice to see we aren't being intimidated by some rough stuff and can mete it out too. Bodes well for what's to come.

nice to see them carrying on in same vein from Easter weekend. if continue like this in 2nd half will comfortably win.

Lincoln's co-commentator sums it up perfectly, comparing us to earlier in the season

They look better organised defensively
They look better organised in attack
They close down when not in possession
and every player seems to know what he's doing

We should be 3 up, and that is being kind. Worry is that they can scab a goal, but we are hitting our best form as the pitches improve, and a joy to watch at present.

I hate Appleton but he,s a good coach . Could alter their shape second half. But he,s playing the Mighty Pool who he deserted many moons ago UTMP

We have been pretty much in control so far & have a thoroughly deserved lead, in fact we could be further ahead. Good first half. 👍

Good point about the pitches improving. Definitely helps our passing game going forward to the end of the season
