Lincolnshire & East Midlands Seasiders First meeting

For those who are interested I have been in conversation with BFCPete and we have selected Saturday 12th July for the inaugural meeting of the Lincolnshire & East Midlands Supporters Group.

Anyone who is available and would like to join and help set up the group will be very welcome and that includes Wiz & Curryman if it doesn't clash with anything.

The fixtures will be out and I think a lunchtime meet in Lincoln (Pub to be confirmed) would be pretty central for all of us. So far we have 4 of us and from the replies another 4 or 5 and hopefully more.

If you are interested put a message on here and I will put my contact details on here s we are starting up a WhatsApp group and we don't want any dodgy journalists joining by mistake when we are planning a raid on BASIL.

I can make a dinner time meeting,don’t know where lunch came in,maybe for the posh folk.
It was and still is.
Breakfast.
Dinner,
Tea.
Supper.
For me.

My son has suggested we go to The Cardinal's Hat. The Treaty is a Lincoln City pub and the beer is very average. The Cardinal is a little bit further but has better beer choices and a number of side rooms.

The Cardinal's Hat is about 10 mins walk from the railway station up the High Street
 
It opens from 12 pm on Saturdays. Any idea how many may come? Two of my sons, Eamonn and Callum, are planning to come with me. Are you planning to set up a Whats App group?

Yes, I have your numbers and will sort that out this week. once that is done I will advertise it on here, it's a shame the PM is not available any more, There are some others interested so I think we should start off with a pretty small group but once it's up and running we can work out best Social Media ways to have a group on say Facebook as well as WhatsApp.

I'll do a post on here too in a week or so with the details of the meet and those who want to be involved but can't make the meeting will be added as membersnand if they have any questions can let us know prior to the meeting.Curryman is coming and Wiz did say he would try and make it so wemcan tap them up for how they do things with Yorkie Seasiders.

Good luck with the new group of exiles.
New fixtures out in just over a couple of weeks and we`ll be arranging another exiles night.

Herts will you be organising coaches to games? Or will you be meeting in a pub together to follow the game on your phones and post on here? With the flag as a table cloth?

Sorry, I just can't stop myself..... 😉

Also, I've been imagining you being in Hertfordshire all these years, for some daft reason!

To answer your questions, I personally will look to attend around 9 away games next season and will try to get to a couple of home games.

I moved to Hertfordshire in 1986 and then moved to Cambridge in 2017 and moved to Lincolnshire in January this year, but like you have kept my original AVFTT user name since AVFTT very first started.

It’s funny because I’ve always thought of you as a person who gains sexual pleasure from watching others when they are naked or engaged in sexual activity for all these years 😂

I set up an East Midlands supporters group when i lived in Notts around 2012 just covering Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and there were 30 in the group with regular lifts back to the gold coast. I'll see if I can direct some people towards the group. There is an East Midlands twitter page too but not sure I can log in as it was a long time ago but I'll try. If not just set up a new one and ask TK's, MSG and BST to share some of your tweets.
