Strange isn't it when you look back that we had Patino, Poveda, Corbeanu, Rogers, Bowler and Fiorini all on loan last season which would make a pretty decent side in the Championship - had they all stayed fit should that combination with Yates, Madine etc have lead to us staying up. I'd say so.
Was only looking at those loans to see when we got them in and we'd got 5 in by the end of August. Really strange we currently have zero!

Yes Weir is on loan.

I can't remember whose interview it was but pre-season someone at the club admitted we were over reliant on loans last season and they wanted to move away from that going forward.

Rather than excessive loans, Sadler relies alone on transfer market parsimony.

This may see a club with the best training ground and stand in the fourth tier.

We need to find a couple of quality loans in the next week to improve our final third stuff. Lacking the required quality up top for a serious promotion push so far.

100% agree with that HOWEVER if there was a goal hungry Prem striker out there who hasn't got a sniff of the first team then I'd have him!
Shame we didn't get Rogers back - not getting much love at Boro.
