Luton v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 31.01.26

Fair play to anyone making the journey to Luton. Probably more in hope than expectation. I don’t think Luton are anywhere near as good as Stockport and they haven’t been too convincing of late. However, what can you expect of our Team? We’ve the feel of a Team cobbled together and lacking in confidence. Anything other than a shambolic defeat will be welcomed.
 
We’ll get absolutely smashed. May as well play the youth team to protect what fit players we have left

Blackpool swopped the corrupt Oyscum for a rich man who hires the incompetent.

Continued patronage amid contempt applies no pressure for real change.

I meet nearby friends, save on travel and avoid the equivalent to watching paint dry.

Now most people call THAT getting a life.

Excessive drinkers and smokers gave decades to addictions, then wised up.

Transfixed attendance on a club which treats fans as dupes colludes with abuse.

The ones who care most prove growing numbers who boycott to force reform.

Mind you, with the parlous state of their current finances, are they even in a position to pay staff at the moment?

Hunting in packs is why I fell in love with Pep's Barca back then. Fantastic to watch and as a football fan the commitment was not just perfect to see but something you could be as one with them (poor last words but I hope you get my meaning).

Pep's Barca + Holloways Blackpool = Football made in Heaven.

Does anyone know if it's possible to pay on the gate tomorrow? I unexpectedly now have the opportunity to go to the game but the ticket offices (Pool and Luton) are already closed for the day.

Our players are not strong enough to do that. And if they do, they get injured.

Can’t see us getting anything at all with our current state of affairs. Hope we do not least for our brave tangerine warriors (the fans).
