Marvin Akpereogene Paul Edem Ekpiteta appreciation thread

I posted in a thread a few weeks ago that he was getting better with every game, and he's continuing to do so.
I'm happy for him with his first goal, although I thought it would have been a towering header.

He’s having a great season. Given this is the highest level he’s played so far I’ve been expecting him to have a bad game, but he never really does and just gets better and better. He’s settled into the league great and he’s beginning to boss it.

For me baked potato has been one of our most consistent players and has grown in confidence through each game.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a bigger club watching him closely.

Looks like Rachel Riley's dropped all her Countdown letters on the floor and rearranged them in that order!
Still prefer Marvin EggPotato!
Love the guy!
Be interesting to drag up some threads from earlier in the season!

I'd just like to see his goal. I went to the loo and got back to see the end of the celebrations.
We have a mate who ,mainly due to the several pre match pints he had, would invariably have to go to the loo under the South Stand when the game was being Played. The number of times he missed a goal was amazing. In fact we use to encourage him to go if we needed one 😉
Your name isn’t Phil by any chance😀?

No it isn't. Mind you, I had also had a few whets before and after kick off. Maybe there's a lesson for me here.....

Thorniey also had a good game
Only 1 mistake from big Marv last night he was caught ball watching and lost his man Joseph for the header in the 1st half which could have proved costly at 0-0 but he gets better each game, Thornley also had a good game but let his man go by him far too easily on his mazy run - he should have chopped him down early, good save from Maxwell tho and a great through ball late on for Sims.

We've played far better than we did last night and lost or drawn this season - lets be honest Wigan were as poor defensively as any team we've played this season.

Think we will make the play-offs quite easily but the points maybe too much for automatic, we are the best team I've seen all season and well put the Ipswich ghost to bed next week

That run from the halfway line would have been a great goal if Maxwell hadn't made a decent save. I might have applauded it.

He has a lot of the attributes to play at a much higher level ...his one weakness is his distribution when passing forward...it is woeful...if it were as good as the rest of his game he wouldnt still be here
