Match off but another problem

This is very annoying, if those who shall not be named where still at the helm this would be brought up

im not trying to be nasty our owner is best in the league but this should be addressed

I completely agree that the communication of the postponement was total tinpot. I follow saying it’s off before either clubs Twitter, Scrafton not knowing, no communication from the ref as he went off. You could have been buying that game on I follow at 659 and you wouldn’t have had any idea the game had been called off.

However it’s the referee’s job to have a proper look at the pitch when he gets to the ground and if he had concerns to raise them, at say 6pm, or simply postpone the game at that point.

I realise it’s a very cold night, but theres one of three options. Ref didn’t check pitch properly when he got there, pitch deteriorated markedly after that, or he allowed Burton to bully him into postponing.

3rd option is the winner.

Looking at hasselbank he wanted the game off the way he was acting

JFH basically got the game called off - Ref shit his pants. Tell me what did the ref know differently at 6:50 he didn't know at 6pm. Feck all. It wasn't snowing or raining or at risk of lightning. Did he not realise it was going to get colder at 6pm?
Stinks.
