On the clubs site it states due to fans feedback they've decided to have a single price on match day tickets but its been inflated to £30! How they can raise it in the immediate climate is beyond me. £20 would suffice. Thoughts?

I can probably do about 10 games a season now and haven't been able to get to the shop to sort the membership or a ticket out beforehand so was looking at £40 yesterday. To do it online would have added an extra charge on top of that.

Will sort at some point but I failed to agree personal terms at the 11th hour and stayed where I was instead like Cameron Brannagan. Ended up with a 10 quid vpn view.

Would say 25 walk up with no extra up front fee, category scamming or anything else would feel about right for the championship. 20 if feeling charitable.

Is it cheaper for students or anyone on unemployment benefit?

Oh cry cry. I paid 2quid for a can of coke the other day. Its the world we live in unfortunately. I'm also gutted I can't afford to skydive every weekend. ** tories. ** bfc management. Wankers all of them.

With only 10k home fans with no realistic way of increasing I'm not sure what people want -

£25 (Inc membership) is more than reasonable.

Rightly in my opinion we're maximising income with others.

Whilst maximising revenue from away fans we are putting of the casual home fan as all they see is the headline price of £30.
Everyone has a max they'll pay for any item and those I've spoke to won't pay the higher price I can see our attendances dropping this season.

If they won't pay £25 then we can't be basing our pricing policy round them.

If they're only going to attend less than a handful of games so won't commit to a membership then the same applies.

We're trying to compete at a high level, that costs money.

Last season the majority of games where 24 and some 20 and very few 28 now it's 30 for every game it's too much.

As to the £25 you have to pay 15 for a membership so after four games you've saved a fiver so the casual won't bother.

Proof will be on home attendees which I suspect will be down because of the high pricing but hey all those who say 30 is fine know best.

I also think £30 is too much but I think it will impact home support more than away support.( and there is the membership scheme to combat that to an extent.) If you are coming to Blackpool for the weekend, or a night etc, would the extra £5 or so put you off that. The club have gambled that it will not - can debate whether it’s morally the right thing to do - as mentioned that reading fan won’t be the first to complain this season. We as away fans will certainly feel the brunt of reverse pricing I would imagine

Three of us didn't get a ticket on Saturday because we weighed it up and decided the money was better spent in the pub rather than ** around buying memberships.

I wouldn’t be happy paying £30 for a game ,the Reading fan on Lee Charles commented on it and he won’t be the only away fan ,many won’t come at that price
1000 away fans at an extra £5 each is 5k that's less than 200 home fans if they are put off with higher price.
Which I think many will.
