Maybe if you actually supported the team

Then you would see an improvement. Where are all the boycotters? Sat in front of Sky Sport News that's where. Me and my boys go through thick and thin, travelling the length of the country! As Delia would say, let's be aving you!

In terms of getting results on the pitch, the action and support of the fans is no substitute whatsoever for players that have guts, desire and technique, and a manager that knows how to get the best from them.

Sorry Mike, but you are wrong IMO, I think the vast majority of our fans have been incredibly supportive of the team considering the utter garbage being displayed for the last 4 months or so. Sometimes it is for the players to offer something to lift the fans, with an average home attendance of just under 9k, I don't think you can accuse supporters of being the issue.

Mike I hear ya and it is tough but I’m with Newbury more on this. The fans have been so supportive and so loud. The atmosphere at home has been amazing but game after game we keep losing. Could we have had better support than Accy Away, Tranmere Away, Rochdale Away unbelievable loud support but only draws. We go it’s what we do, what we used to do, it’s what we always did but damn it is hard to keep going even for those with tough skin it’s really hurting
They have had great support they aren’t where they are because of the fans support that’s for sure. I’m starting to accept that we are just not good enough I’m sorry to say.

I wasn't there last night, so I suppose it's fans like me you are referring to Mike. There are many reasons why people can't go to a match but let's look at Fleetwood with their travelling support, one bus full or thereabouts, it hasn't affected them.

I've travelled the length and breadth of the country for years, but am now slowing down as I get older and have only been to 9 away games this season, and in that time seen some pretty awful stuff. That is not down to the crowd, it's down to the management and the players. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it will still be a pig, and that is our problem, not the supporters.

See you at Wimbledon?

Edit to add. For an exile, every game is an away game and they don't, on most occasions, have the ease of using transport provided as do those who live in the Fylde. A home game for me by public transport is a 12 hour day.

Agree with most of that Lee but not the bit about the accy, Rochdale and tranmere games coming away with just draws. Draws away from home are not bad, what was bad was the awful performances, the lack of pace, the one dimensional footie. To some supporters it's all about the result, for others it's about the performance/entertainment. Generally I don't give a toss about the result. If I am giving up 6 hours or so an average of every Saturday I am asking for one every 4 games to see a decent game of footie.

well said Ghosts 👍

Agree with Mike. One thing I noticed was the urgency to get the ball out to the wings 'EVERY' time the ball came out of defence. Hardly ever putting it down the centre. They've got to have a greater variety of attacking options. I also thought than Madine was 'Cr@p'.
Try a different system Grayson. 😠
